I am for fairness, open procedures and competition under equal terms with emphasis on intelligence and academic ability and not some obscure social Leistung.

Did you see that noone wants to discuss about the topics I put?Affirmative action, dumbing down, standardized tests etc.It is everywhere the same. They refuse to discuss this they say ''I do not want to discuss this.''

Medicine is open to anyone at a public university in English, as long as you've got the money to pay.

Actually medicine is one of the very few schools in England where they have numerus clausus. The result is that almost no Greek manages to study in UK medicine since the requirements in exam(A levels how do you call them?) are very high and the students who try to study abroad are exactly those who failed to be admitted in the greek system because of low grades. So they simply lack the necessary abilities to compete.

On the other hand the ones who have passed the exams in the greek system would have easily got access to UK medical schools in a 80% at least because they are top students.

In fact the greek students with low abilities who study abroad have created an awful reputation for the greek system and the intellectual abilities of Greeks while the native ones(eg Greeks who have been born in Germany and study in Germany) have created good impressions because they are not negatively selected.

In Poland students who want to get a proper education go through public system which is paid or unpaid , depends on how you score in your maturity exams . Try to study law or medicine getting 70 % in your maturity tests , impossible .

It is exactly the same.Canada uses standardized tests while Poland like Greece uses a simple competitive system where your rank in exams determines everything.Standardized tests and independancy of universities for admission process offers a lot more flexibility. For example Bush got admitted to Yale despite his low scores in SAT exams because his father had studied in the same institution.Bush would probably fail to be admitted in the polish system. The question is would a polish candidate like to have Bush as his co-student(or the equivalent of Bush) or a top notch student from polish village without connections? We see how social pressure determines university priorities and not just academic abilities.

What Poland probably lacks is exactly this taking of social status into consideration. In Greece it is supposed that the better income persons can afford better private tutors to pass exams(and often they have private tuition for 2-3 years) but it does not work like that and the reason is the IQ differences and their role in exam rankings the widespread and cheap relatively private tutoring and the differences between urban and rural areas I will analyze this another time.

In fact private tutoring works like this.A very mediocre student can see a colossal advance but not enough to get competitive grades.A very good student can become excellent and gain access to competitive fields. This is exactly what happens in Greece and middle class has largely understood that private tutoring does not help its offsprings to succeed since everyone does the same.

What is important is the standardization. For example in greek national exams 50% of students write below base that is less than 50% correct answers they fail even to catch base. All these get certification that they finished secondary education and are eligible for admission to university in other countries(there are 40000 greek students only in UK).

On the other hand the students who compete for competitive schools(like medicine, engineering etc) have to get over 90% of correct answers to have chances to succeed. So you have a situation where the 50% of examinees completely fails while another 10% gets top grades and competes for admission in very tough competition when a simple mistake on exams can determine everything.

Why does this happen?Simply the tests in Greece are not standardized.(that is why 50% fail). So the middle class has a ready argument for the failure of its offsprings.

1.The educational system has failed when 50% fail to get base in national exams
2.The competition at top is ridiculous. In other countries(Italy etc) admission to the same schools is a lot easier and there are no competitive exams

3.Not only the top of the top have the intellectual capacity to study. In fact almost everyone can study

We see from the above how much power gives the middle class the lack of standardization and how they later use these justifications to jump and annul the system(for example paying proffessors to transfer their offspring from abroad to domestic university, pressing for recognistion of diplomas for which they bribed in eastern Europe,we talk about dozens of thousands of cases).

In fact I do not recognize any attempt to bring social criteria into education.Everyone who wants to apply affirmative actions, social bonuses, press for admissions despite low grades, promote their offsprings despite low capabilities can suck a big pen1s.They can put a dildo in their assses this is their normal position.Beat the sh1tters where you find them.

The best engineers in the US are all not just non-white, but they are foreign born.

70% of US engineers are of german origin what are you talking about?

Poland will very unlikely to become a multiculti country because we have a healthy law that allows to grant a citizenship only to children born to Polish citizens(

What does a law about citizenship have to do with immigration?(especially illegal).Poland will not become multicultural because Polaci do not give jobs to foreigners.

History / Why did Russia attack Poland in WW2? [178]

are you proud that your country attacked Poland in WWII? ;)

It was done for strategic reasons to gain time.Or gain land to exchange with time in case of german attack.Look at the borders of Poland in 1939.If Germans conquered whole Poland they would come close to Minsk and from there Moscow is just 680 km.

In fact there are always some questions which come into play in exams for example
1.Memorizing vs thinking
2.Easy vs difficult questions(how you standardize the level)
3.Time management etc
A memorizer will claim that he should get better grades because he studied more hours and knows more stuff,a critical thinker will claim he needs to be rewarded because he thinks better and real life is about giving solutions with given data.

One who wants difficult questions will say that difficult questions show who is really better and can respond to critical situations, the one who wants easy questions will say that in real life you get punished when you do wrong sth which is easy and not when you fail on sth that is considered above average or impossible.

The fast responder will claim that being fast and quick in answers is very important for real situations when you don't have time to think, the slow responder will claim that speed hinders communication with others and that real situations demand a steady constant flow and not fast outbursts.

So everyone is right and everyone is wrong. Then the exam fighter comes to the exam and analyzes to which extent it is actually influenced by the above mentioned thoughts and secondary thoughts.Because in an essence you have everyone opposite to you,it is like a trap so the point is to reverse the trap and trap the examiner.

As far as I know only the Americans have invented a system that beats down memorizers.Memorizers are totally unbeatable there is no way one can prevail in an exam over a hardcore chinese or japanese student who are the biggest memorizers. Here in Greece memorizing has come to a high advanced level when I sat for the national exams I memorized 4 books of 500 pages each word by word.I wrote exactly the same sentences as they were in the book so there was no chance that anyone could get a better grade.

Of course in university the material is so huge that total memorizing of books word by word fails(due to human memory capacity) however you can do your bit of memorizing and it is always rewarding. In fact Americans use byzantine techniques for memorizing I was surprised. But they have developed a multiple choice and grading system that prevents heavy memorizers from getting the best grades.

Maybe some day I will explain how they manage this how they play out the memorizer and what he can do to beat the system.(although they forbid expansion of such information).

One typical case in Poland is where the professor expects the students to repeat things straight from the book that he published on the subject -

I see similarities with Greece. But it is even worse if he expects words from his unwritten lectures.
Generally as a student in Greece I was largely disgusted by the unfairness of the exams. Some people studied for months with no sleep to get a base grade while some others passed with studying overnight due to connections.Political party played important role. Some proffessors asked for a list of students belonging to certain party to pass them.I saw people who were political chiefs passing 25-30 lessons in an exam period that is they passed all the exams of 5 years in just one(the last) and got degrees.

The only guarantee in oral exams is what we call round. In round the proffessor asks for example 5 students the same questions in a row.If a student does not answer a question or gives wrong answer he asks the same question to the next one. This is a very common system but has a big disadvantage.Your grade depends on the abilities of the students who happen to be examined with you.Because if you happen to sit with examinees who have excellently studied the material it is very likely that you will be asked very difficult questions the ones which the others fail to answer.

On the other hand if you sit the exams with mediocre or unprepared examinees you will be asked relatively easy questions which the others failed to answer. Also luck plays important role in this system because you may answer a general question correctly then the proffessor move to the next student for a detailed view and he will fail while he may have known the general answer but does not know the more detailed stuff. So it can be unfair.

There are so prejudiced proffessors that ask questions bypassing the row at will, that is they do not ask specific students the same questions which the others failed to answer because they want to pass them.(these specific students). It is a chance to see proffessor abuse of power in action.Sometimes they even do not give pass grade if the student does not say some words they expect to hear. They pass him only in case he says these exact words(which are usually deriven from his lectures at university and not from his book in this way he wants to check if the student has attended his lectures).I remember one case when I was given the worst grade because I gave the answer from the book material.

Big problem in law, medicine, etc. in Poland.

In oral exams proffessors can pass whoever they want on will. What they do?Simply they find a subject where the student is weak after scanning all over the material with questions and then they ask him only questions on the subject he is weak till he fails. On the other hand they ask childishly easy questions to the examinee they want to pass or have much favourable grading.

Here is an advice I read in a greek magazine:"When the proffessor asks a question about a subject you know very well, start speaking slowly with mistakes and stuttering. He will assume that you don't know the subject and start asking questions exclusively about it.Then you start miraculously answering correctly in detail and you pass."

Also, don't forget the statistical dimension that educational institutes love to draw attention to. They can paint a false picture

The statistical dimension you refer to is a pain for the ass of the middle class and its offsprings. They manipulate it heavily that is they use common fallacies to interpret it and all this is publicised in normal press. In reality they use very genuine analysis when they press for the laws securing the interests of their offsprings and sometimes you can expose them for using double language.(they write one thing in press and use another thing for justification of law measures).

Another thing they use is guilt. They say "you should be ashamed for passing such easy exams where everyone passes" when the reality is they made the exams easier for the incompetent ofsprings to pass and so it is easy to pass without difficulty."So I say to them get feked show me your offspring and put me the same tests and I will demolish him.But you as a sh1tter and a fag know the real capabilities of your offspring and will never show him to compete against him in equal terms. So I spit on you and I will fek you till your eyes bleed."

Also I do not recognize any attempts of persons unrelated to exam competitions to manipulate the tests in such ways that the persons who have better knowledge cannot get better grade due to manipulation in the levels of difficulty, grading etc.I am in for an open and known system of grading and not for a secret one.

Yes,political correctness.Do you know what they do?They dumb down the tests so their offsprings can pass and then exclude the others by some simple measures which are:

1.Taking ancestry into account
2.Taking financial condition of parents into account
etc.

It is a difficult problem.Generally the middle class does not accept that their offsprings should compete in equal terms with the offsprings of other classes. So it offers the following possibilities:

1.Easier tests for their offsprings
2.The same difficulty but less strict evaluation
3.Lower average as base to pass
4.Oral exams favoring the offsprings
5.Competing for different positions where other offsprings are not allowed to compete

They say if you don't accept one of the above 5 methods then you should take ancestry and financial condition into account for admission otherwise we do not recognize the admission process and press the law makers.

All their methods are quite clear, always the same and totally boring as the sh1t in which they are now.

I see what the hypocrites do here in Greece and mind you everything is agreed upon by both left and right parties because both extract benefit.

It is totally forbidden to talk about these issues in mass media controlled by them and if you try to do there are threats of direct violence and financial consequences.

Lately I have started talking openly about these issues and I noticed that they try to befriend me to silence.

Dumbing down is a widespread method of middle class to promote their incompetent offsprings. It is maked under the pretense of mass education while in reality it is exclusion of students with high IQ lacking the necessary social background.

This dumbing down has led to a massive promotion of incompetent people to crucial positions who are largely responsible for the crisis. It is a structural problem with political roots and political consequences and cannot be solved given the current balances of power.

the difference is that Poland handled the transition from communism to capitalism much better than Hungary did.

Hungarians are not Slavs. They belong to the turko-finnish branh being the middle. So they have some turkish elements of corruption which can be lethal if they do not control other regions like Sovakia,Romania to exploit them like they did during Austrohungary.Hungary can be successful only as a Greater Hungary.

We all know that Greece fell (was pushed) into economic difficulties. What advice would you give to relevant Polish personnel in order to stave/ward off any collapse?

Just stay out of euro and avoid corruption.(because Hungary has also difficulties despite not having the euro). But I suppose Poland will do well because there are very few immigrants and half of working population has emigrated so there is nothing to lose.

Applying the same logic of instability, do you feel that America is trying to do sth similar by provoking Russia into harsh rhetoric and threat of action against Poland?

No,I don't think so.Russia has no interest in attacking Poland.Poland is not significant in terms of place and resources. The Russians are chess players and hit with force when their victim is mostly blind or incapacitated. The Americans play monopoly.

This means that the US tries to build a series of enstranged and distrustful, aggressive countries towards Russia to gain a strategic encirclement. If Russia gets pressed only by Poland or Georgia is not a big deal. But if it is pressed from China,Afghanistan,Georgia,Poland,Baltics then sth might happen especially with a coordinated fuelling of Chechnya war.Practically the goal is the dissolution of the monolithic russian government so that US firms get ground on exploitation of russian natural resources. Now this is practically impossible because they have to pay royalties to unpredictable nationalist pimps like Putin. For example even if they get a contract Putin might easily blackmail them to give him more or even shut up their enterprises by military force.

In this regard the point is what Poland has to gain if she participates in the US inspired strategic encirclement of Russia and what she has to lose. The losses are very visible while the gains are not so visible.

As a Greek man watching the Balkans crisis unfold, southern, what was your take on the build-up to the Balkans War?

My take is that Balkans war were clearly orchestrated from abroad. We never called it Balkan War because it was no Balkan war it was a civil war inside Yugoslavia.Specifically we called it Bosnia,Kraina and UCK.The war in Bosnia was the real deal when the Serbs actually won and the West never took this fact in peace. It was a horn in the eye.

The war in Kraina was a german plan and everyone knew the Germans were behind it.
The UCK was a US invention and a very bad plotted one, really noone here could be deceived about the real nature of these ''guerilla forces.''They were trained and given weapons in Albania by US and UK it was in fact a pseudo-army very fake to cause instability and justification for intervention. The Serbs were played out basically the West cut off their accesses to media and exploited largely the ignorance of the rest of Europe about the region.

For example if you heard that some rebel Irish get raped by barbarian Scotts you would be very suspicious about the information. It is exactly what the western media constantly repeated about UCK.It was clear that there was a gross plan for the region taking place.

The immigrants are needed by capitalist enterprises to reduce the wages. So everyone turns a blind eye on them.As long as the economy does well noone is bothered. When however the economy turns down immigrants are among the first to suffer because they are thought responsible for the crisis.(they are responsible indirectly).

You see that the Turks who are moderate muslims and partly located in europe have caused Germany all kinds of problems so a mass deportation would be desired by a great part of the population. How do you expect assimilation of completely different cultures in such a society?
