News / Newsweek's The World's Best Countries (Poland ranked 29) [128]

Israel is light years ahead of many EU countries in, technology innovation and healthcare.

Healthcare? Innovation? Really? I think everyone would agree that using a donkey cart to transport wounded to the hospital because the victims are not Jewish like it’s done in Israel, is light years behind the rest of the world in both, a mentality that belongs in the middle ages and the choice of the mode of transportation undoubtedly even older than that. This brings us to the third point you made, technology? American planes, helicopters etc. although a high tech in comparison to the sling shots Palestinians are using , those are American not Israeli technologies even bought and paid for American tax payer. LOL

its not surprising millions of Arabs are dying to get in there.

Arabs are dying because of US and Israeli Jewish policies but that’s another debate.

Average Joe in US can afford to eat 3 big mac meals aday

It shows too. Every time you see some report about Americans on TV you see those burgers bulging out of them. By the looks of it, it looks like cheap burgers; fries + coke are the only food reasonably priced to most of them and the healthy, organic, nutritious food is out of reach to the masses in the so called richest nation on earth.

I think Mc Donalds meals are probably healthier than those pig fat

Is that why McDonald's Australia, specifically had to deny the rumor way back that there is definitely no lard and pig fat in the McDonald's potatoes, milkshakes or ice cream? While the rest of the McDonald's chains around the world don’t even bother to comment on that silly rumor. TG it was only a rumor, if that was true and the Australian McDonald’s really used pig fat to enhance the flavor in their product, the prices would have to double or even triple perhaps. As is, we all know that anyone producing cheap alternative to the real deal prefer to use inexpensive, mass produced MSG as the flavor enhancer, and we all know how healthy that is.

Life / Why Aren't The Shops in Poland Open on Sundays? [82]

anyway shops are closed for this religious thingy

Whatever the reason, National Holliday or Religious Holliday and no matter how much you bi*** and m*** about it, it won’t change a thing, so do everyone a favor and go play with yourself to occupy your time instead of starting stupid flame threads -Troll. Guests should respect and honor local customs not trample all over them.

Still, people have to eat

News / New cross war in Warsaw [530]

Why bring religious element into this discussion? Ever heard of "vox populi, vox Dei"? IF you’re not religious by all means, take the second part out of the equation but it still leaves you with the first and the most important part that no government should ever ignore, after all that’s what gives them the mandate to govern, that’s what they preach ‘Democracy’, ‘ Will of the people’ right? Besides satisfying their own ego just to show there’s a new sheriff in town and use this as another pretext to attack RCC is despicable in my opinion, it’s not serving anyone here in the long run, just makes a house divided. It’s not about RCC or some religious symbol even though some would like you to believe it is.

BTW one should never underestimate power of the Babcia no matter how old she happens to be, after all she’s the one who instills the values in new generation, you and your wife are simply too busy and preoccupied with your own careers.

Genealogy / Is Wajman or Wayman a Polish name? [15]

There are 480 Wajman in Poland.
Wayman is probably an Americanized spelling of Polish Wajman but the surname is German.
Here's a map of Poland where you will find Wajman surname, not necessarily true back then as there was a great shift of population after WWII.

Take a good look at how vicious Americans can be as soon as they perceive a comment as personal attack on them, no sense of humor whatsoever. Read some of the comments made by your compatriots on this very forum, then we can speak of who's guilty of what sin.

History / Warsaw Uprising - The Forgotten Soldiers [117]

YOU ASKED FOR AN ARSE KICK!

Haw did that ar** kinking work out for Germany?

In the end you were forced to ally with another monster who invaded you and who kept you under your thumb for 50+ more years as the Hitler nightmare was over after '45.

In the end half of your country shared the same fate for the next 50+ and the other half have been occupied as well, not to mention reparations and loss of territory, was it worth it?

If you ask me neither one was someone who could be trusted or for us to make any kind of deal with. In the end it worked out how it did and making a case that somehow Germany fared better fate than Poland? it's a matter of opining and highly questionable, in the end you were not the masters of your own fate, mere pawns in the hands of a higher powers.

Could you stop your antisemitic rant?

Is it? dose the truth hurt? Somehow you haven’t been outraged by Midas racist comment, wonder why?

yah, blame it on somebody else.

Pointing out the obvious, weren’t the Jews the ones that were accused of thievery themselves over the centuries. Ironic that some Jewish ar***** accuses Poles of it now, is it the case of (blame it on somebody else) that you talk about?

Poland isn't a nation of thieves.
It has a significant amount of them, for economic reasons,

Really? Every society has a certain portion of the population willing to cheat, steal and lie; the difference is that ours had learned their trade from the best, you know - Jews for whom economic reasons is not even a factor, it’s in their nature.

I wonder, are the moderators Polish, quite a lot of the comments end up in "the bin".

I will for sure. I am not that easily fooled when it comes to service, be it in Poland or Canada.

Good for you, it’s settled then, now can I have my beer in peace and have one on me as well.

Life / Do Polish People steal a lot? [330]

what are you talking about? The software was not necessary at all

Why the need for it to be reinstalled then? You made it quite clear what was expected of authorized dealer as part of the procedure to fix the problem in your rant.

they- like who?
You know, ASSUME - making an ass-out-of-U-and-me.

The part was faulty, therefore should have been fixed for free.
Overcharging is stealing in my books.

Take it up with the corporation; they have their procedures in place which the authorized dealer has to adhere to. Don’t you know that big part of the profits generated by those corporations are in support not in sales. Why have a fit and a gripe against people who simply follow the procedure and instruction given to them by the corporate. Besides you fixed it yourself so what’s the problem? If you don’t like the quote you have a right to take your business somewhere else or do it yourself, you didn’t pay them good for you but even if you did it would have been out of your own free will so haw is that stealing?; therefore no relation to the topic of this thread.

Overcharging is stealing in my books too but that doesn’t make it a crime when the price is set by a big bad corporation for any given product or service, as long as it’s done through their authorized dealers, you can always do it on the cheap and pay some student to do it for you if you’re not savvy enough to do it yourself.

First being unlawful should get an "negative" image (with the help of he media),

Grow up BB; every politician is on the take in one form or another no matter what country they happen to hail from. It’s in no one’s interest to change the way the things are done. This problem had been with us since time in memorial still is, so what makes you think it will be any different in the future or that you and I can do anything about it. When you don’t hear about corruption it’s simply because it’s kept under tight lid.

theft, tax evasions and bribery, not accepting it as normal and "okay"

I agree but the only way you’ll ever stop bribery is when people stop trying getting favors and stop offering it. Government agencies can only do so much it’s the people that have to realize it’s not acceptable to offer it. Sadly those that have will always think they are entitled to a fester service and keep offering.

you on the other hand question him. Why?

Was I questioning him? Read again, it’s a statement not a question, besides its true. How would you know where I live? Now that’s a question. You know what they say about assuming? Wow another – I’m on a roll.

who wanted to charge me 900 PLN, including charge for reinstalling the software, which I left at home.

Honest business if you ask me, if they didn’t you would accuse them of software piracy.

You’re not too bright Varsovian, are you? Despite all the hard effort on your part in your attempt to prove OP right, all you have managed to do is to show us that you have married a step down (if that’s even possible in your case LOL) right into that peasant class thus becoming a part of peasant society yourself.

Doctors will never ever turn down a bribe.

Bribery is not a theft, quit offering. Someone who is willing to part with his hard earned money can’t call the other person a thief for accepting it. Perhaps you feel cheated and not getting your money’s worth, simply asking what’s the going rate for any given service might resolve your dilemma instead of trying to guess and try to do it on the cheap. Business is business; giving more will always yield better results.

wildrover – having a vicious dog and letting it lose dose the trick, perhaps an old rifle loaded with rock salt shot? Just a thought.

News / Poland - the least liked German neighbour. [210]

Well....and reading the comments of that poll, who wants to be friends with Poles in the first place? :(

Oh get over it BB. There’s no love lost between our people, never was and probably never be, just another fact of life we have to live with. Do we really need a poll to show us that? :-(

It’s reality we all know too well. Like what’s next – am I suppose to kiss German ass now because they don’t like me or want the Germans to lie and hide their true feelings towards Poles so we can look better? I have no Idea what OP wanted to accomplish by stating the obvious but this should not be a surprise to anyone, now is there?

News / Poland - the least liked German neighbour. [210]

According to the recent Emnid poll, conducted between 21st and 23rd April,
of all the Germany's neighbours, Poland is the least liked by German citizens.

Now there’s a surprise – really?, I’m not particularly fond of jerries either (po prostu nie lubię fryców.) - So there. Feelings are mutual.

UK, Ireland / Con Air UK: Flights take Polish criminals home - the cost to you is £25million [30]

Let’s see first you moan about too many criminals finding a safe haven in UK and now when Polish government tells you who those people are you moan about picking them up? Con - Air is paid for and provided by Polish government, all you have to do is to pick them up and drop them off since they are in your jurisdiction. Now you moan that there are too many on the list for petty crime and it cost you too much to pick them up? It’s a case of damn if you do damn if you don’t, there’s no way to please some of you, is there?

UK, Ireland / The secret Polish gay men in the U.K [133]

I have a very good friend here in Warsaw who is gay - and ashamed of how backward Poland is towards gays. Being badly beaten up in the street by persons unknown didn't help matters.

Wow, sure sounds like British Isles are paradise on earth for the homos, so what’s stopping him from moving there? Must be a bi**h to leave this imaginary hell hole buy that imaginary ticket and board that imaginary airplane by your imaginary friend who dreams of imaginary bliss.

News / 10,000 ISRAELIS READY TO CLAIM FOR POLISH CITIZENSHIP AND POLISH LAND! [628]

I am a full blooded Belarussian, Russian, UKrainian and Polish Jew

All those nationalities in you and you still call yourself ‘full blooded’, more like a mutt in my book.

Don't go blaming me for the idiot goy named Stalin and Lenin who commited atrocities against hte Jewish people.

How simple minded you are, did anyone mentioned any names? Since you are showing a bit of interest perhaps reading a book or two on the subject would not hurt you. May I recommend ‘The Culture of Critique’ by Kevin MacDonald it’s an analysis of Jewish Involvement in Political Movements of twentieth-century, discussing Jewish involvement in various Soviet satellite countries. From that book you might learn of such characters as Berman, Beria and others besides the only two you and most of Americans know of. Eventually with your curiosity aroused you might learn what Berman and others like him were doing in Poland for the next 10 years right after WWII, how many Poles did he send to Siberia, how many executions and then talk to me how Jews were the victims of communism or who should I blame. Your arguments are truly inspirational and you have the guts to call others what you are.

Stupid Goy.

Sounds like an uneducated Jew to me whose parents bought a diploma for him yet your intellectual capacity stayed at the level that of ameba.

Another reason Poles don't like Jews is that many Jews have become religious and revived their culture.

Yep especially the ones that were involved in communist movement, a real religious types. How about the ones that moved to Israel from former USSR in recent years, their spiritual life is truly something to be desired by others. Obviously you have no idea what you are on about.

Lets takle a look at the leaders of Poland's communist party. How many were Jews? Was Władysław Gomułka or Boleslaw Bierut a Jew? No, they were Jew-hating gentiles who oppressed the Jewish people with their Polish goyim communism.

Shows how little you know, as a matter of fact both were Jewish Bierut’s real name was Rotenschwanz, as for Gomułka just look at his nose he also was a Jew and such a ‘Jew-hating gentile’ that he married a woman of Jewish descent Sophie Szoken. Now go back to school and learn something about your own people before you manage to embarrass yourself yet again.

I'm getting fed up with all those accusations addressed to

I’m also getting fed up with all those stupid accusations addressed against Poles by your uneducated brethren living in U.S. trying to change history to suit their purpose.

after you guys in 1968 and the Russians a little later, kicked out most of the Jews, Communism still went on.

To be dealt with once and for all only a decade later. That could have only happen if the core supporters of the ideology those that truly believed in it not just making a career of it were game. Those that were left were biding their time to save their hides proving once again that it was the Jews who were the most zealous supporters of communism, with them out of the picture the whole thing collapsed without firing a shot.

News / 10,000 ISRAELIS READY TO CLAIM FOR POLISH CITIZENSHIP AND POLISH LAND! [628]

Poles have more love for Germans, who devastated their land and masscared their people than for Jews. Why? Because, their priest tells them to hate Jews, so does their grandmother!!

How twisted is your reasoning, actually it’s the statements like the one I quoted that don’t win you any friends. Constant whining how mistreated you as a people were yet don’t want to own up to the misdeeds your brethren have caused in the name of communism. Perhaps it’s time for us to demand compensation from the Jews for the Holocaust they have caused, for the property lost, for the lands lost, for the murder of millions, for the torture of countless more and for the suffering of three generations of entire peoples in various countries that had to endure the hell that was imposed on them. Perhaps it’s time for you to fess up to all instead of running smear campaign against Poland in order to get compensation. The old stereotype of Jewish greed seems to hold true.

PS. You see it’s the primitive reasoning like blaming the priests and grandmothers that shows us how much love, tolerance of other religions and respect Jews themselves have for others.

History / What do Polish people think about Belorussians? [38]

What part of my Russian rhetoric you found outdated I wonder?

Typical Polish "Pany" scare tactics employed for centuries by the Russians bad "Lachy".

scraps of self-respect

He never mentioned a unity with Poland in his posts yet you automatically assumed that to be the case. There’s nothing wrong with having a friendly approach to ones neighbors and still having your own national identity intact. I applaud him for making an effort to see what the opinion of an average Pole might be towards his country given the proximity and how little we know of each other. Perhaps I’m wrong but you perceive it to be a threat. Low self worth on your part if you ask me given how tight the Russian-Belorussian relationship is.

If one has got them, tomorrow average Pan Kowalski, Pan(Gospodin) Tarasevic and Gosp. Iwanow will believe everything they're told. Yours or mine opinion won't count.

That’s where I beg to differ. I believe people can think for themselves, everyone has their own opinion, right or wrong, whatever the case might be it’s just your perspective on the issues at hand. Keeping quiet about your own countries politics dose not equal content or support. Little bit of free travel, contact with others and exchange of opinions brings fresh perspective and the way we view outside world. We live in an information age, it’s harder and harder for the regimes to keep their population isolated and the age old scare tactics simply won’t work anymore. Like "Polskie Pany" will return and take away your independence. That’s the point of your original post, like a mother scolding her grown up child convinced that the boogieman tactics will work.

What makes you feel like that?

The willingness to travel and to talk, to get a glimpse of what the outside world is really like, that’s how the opinions are formed. Only then you can dismiss the propaganda fed to you by media resources. I see hope while all you see is insubordination.

If one found out that the direction was wrong, it doesn't automatically mean he would choose the proper one next time.

Once again if you perceive the outside world as some kind of boogieman with a sole purpose for its existence is to get you then the nationalistic ideas easily hold root but free travel and dialog changes that perspective.

Besides all talks about course line are pointless as long as they've got Lukashenko at the helm.

You never know, absolute power corrupts absolutely. If he ever perceives Russia as a threat, he might, just might isolate himself from Russia seeking support somewhere else. Nothing is set in stone.

History / What do Polish people think about Belorussians? [38]

Another sheep straying from the flock, losing its identity, scraps of self-respect, desperately placing his stake on "I hate Russians" field to attract the Poles. :) A typical slave psychology, whatever your antibat'ko/Russia statements are. Still can't figure out if it's funny or pathetic. I believe both.

Perhaps if you tried a different approach than this outdated Russian rhetoric you might be able to keep your flock together. Belorussians are not losing their identity; they are awakening from a long slumber and finding their own identity in the process (good for them if you ask me). There’s no need for a Russian nanny to take care of them or do all the thinking for them. I know it must be hard for an average Russian to come to terms with that reality but it’s too late to put the genie back in the bottle. In my opinion there should be more of cultural exchange between Poland and Belarus even Russia, perhaps then we can put our political differences aside and enjoy what each side has to offer. I know, it’s simply too much to ask for and it sounds like a Crows utopian dream but that would be nice for a change and no we don’t have the ambition of greater Poland, after all, that’s what you fear the most. Come on Sasha, it’s time to face your own demons.
