Life / 80% of Polish people are boring or can't party, why? [179]

complain.

not really to complain but point out the differences

interesting to say about your experiences? (I bet you do).

I like the way you're trying to be half-nice, lol
I can be the same way, maybe this is why I like to party with Brits :-)

well, I'm talking about my experiences in Poland, I'm not saying that everyone here (including your person) has to feel the same way about it.

As far as being "bored", yes I'm at times. I'm selfemployed and I have a little time here and there to waste it on this PF. I guess, quite a few people here see it the same way :-)

A better question freebird, is what is your idea of fun?.

Ok seanus, when we party we also drink, sing and dance but I hate it when it gets out of control. What I mean, drink a little slower, sing a little nicer (at least try :-) most of times it works out too, I guess it's the language) and dance (in average Americans dance better than Poles, sorry it's what I've seen).

we always do that to get rid of unwanted guest...

I bet it works out pretty good especially with unwanted foreigners unless they suffer thru just not to insult the host. :-)

they are more introvert i have noticed, they wait untill they get really drunk to misbehave and have fun.

this is exactly what I think about it

pretty extro and party-minded with or without alcohol, from a.m. to p.m!

yeah Dutch people are really good to party with :-)

But it's FREE!!!!

someone told me that whoever is invited to a wedding party has to bring some cash and give it to the young couple as a present so it's not really free :-)

I was invited once but couldn't go. I've heard about it, sometimes up to a week, I was told. Often ends up with fights, blood and a hospital, right lol. My students in Krasnik discribed me a typical wedding party in their region, lol.

Our persona affects how others see and react to us

c'mon man, there were at least 30 people each time we had the parties. Why are you trying to be sarcastic? All I'm saying is what I've experienced in Poland and how I see it as a foreigner.

They're louder, crazier, and know how to party...

you see, this is the point, different mentality

well, of what I know from this forum, you live in the states, right? If so then you know the difference. We also drink and sing (you have to admit, most of times better, lol)but no one is really yelling or puking at the table or falling of the couch etc.

maybe you'd change the crowd...?

OK, I'm gonna make a short list of towns where I used to live in Poland
Krasnik, Lublin, Swidnik, Pulawy, Siedlce, Radzyn Podlaski, Mikolajki
(not counting towns where are just stopped by for a night or two. Most of times other teachers or older students invited me to their parties. It was fun here and there but most of times it was a waste of time.

When I lived in Poland I came to the conclusion that it's really hard to find people to have fun with. Polish guys (I mean majority of them) never have fun unless they get wasted and then start "singing"(nothing against singing if it was singing, lol) loud as hell (basically yelling)and women are sitting around them not really knowing how to handle this situation and eventually some of them shut down completely and the rest starts acting like their boyfriends.

What kind of experiences have you made?

History / Polish hatred towards Jews... [1290]

Quite shocking considering waves of love only when Jews all around the world are speaking about Poland. Really shocking.

I didn't say it's shocking, lol but it's true
