Life / Is Poland a poor country? [578]

I wouldn't even class Afghanistan as a country.. It's just a piece of land filled with taleban, foreign troops, bombs, bullets and camels

UK, Ireland / How long will Poles use communism and ww2 as an excuse to move to the UK? [55]

You're a sick individual and extreme case of the Lefty-Looney sydrome.

You'd love to see our countryside destroyed and built on to contain the impending tsunami of Bulgarians and Romanians in 2013??

What a typically Polish stance you're taking Lenka. Very nationalistic, defensive and paranoid.

I don't hate anyone or any nation. I hate the policies of the EU that have facilitated 2million (mostly dregs of society) Poles to come over here and sponge of us.

I'm always going to be wrong on here. This site is full of British and American people who are infatuated with all things Polish.

There's not many real Poles here, the ones that moved to our countries tend to prefer to stick to their own language.

mojawyspa.co.uk/forum etc (the list is endless)

So often i read from Poles on forums and news websites about the woes of Poland - Usually blaming the commie past (which their leaders fully embraced), blaming the Germans for ww2, and blaming the West for "betraying them".

It;s been nearly 25 years since the fall of communism. You've had 10 years of EU funding.. and Poland is still a economic mess

Look at Russia! Incredibly rich in natural resources, yet soo soo poor.
Poles need to face facts. You're just not economically viable as a nation.

The pick of the bunch, in my opinion is the Czech Republic. I also noticed the people there are quite friendly and westernized for Slavic standards! Perhaps this is a clue??

Have no fear. Poles have embraced their right to escape their leaders and move to proper countries such as the UK & Ireland, Germany, Norway & The Netherlands.

Proper countries. Countries full of community spirit and selflessness.

Just a shame lots of them haven't conducted themselves as ambassadors of Poland. Committing Crimes. Scrounging Benefits. Heath Tourism, Fraud, the list is endless.

They're even getting in on the act with our 'compensation culture'.

Type in "w ciąży i idzie do uk" in google and you'll find hundreds of links to forum posts made my pregnant Poles coming to the UK.

UK, Ireland / British people more intelligent than the Poles? [53]

According to the latest ranking of the most intelligent people in the world live in Finland. Poland was the 14th position.

studies Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) was attended by both students and teachers, and evaluated the overall performance in science, literacy and mathematics. countries that were ranked in the top stand out among other things that professional educator was very highly regarded by the state. Teachers also have a lot of freedom to work with children and showed a great creativity. wisest in the top twenty nationalities were as many as twelve European countries. Best situation in Finland. On the podium was even South Korea and Hong Kong. further two places also belong to the representatives of Asian countries - Japan and Singapore. Then there is the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and New Zealand, and the best ten closes Switzerland and Canada. before Polish, classified in 14th the place was still Ireland, Denmark and Australia. Just behind it, in turn, are Germany, Belgium and the United States. The twenties were still Hungary, Slovenia and Russia.

londynek

I spotted the headline on the sidebar and clicked it in anticipation for the usual whining and moaning by the Poles.. I was not disappointed :D

My favorite comment:

UK fared so well because all emigrants had overstated the level.

£ociec Rydzyk gadajom Polish immigrants that their presence had conquered the British intelligence and the Finns. So automatically Poland disappeared intelligence. How to return back to the Polish Polish emigrants to equalize the level of the UK and the Finns. But I do not want to hear to get back to the Polish cause too many plots in Poland and preparing the next one.

Life / How a Pole can contribute to the homeland? [27]

Paying 20% in taxes on a low income doesn't really count when you scrounge it all back (and more) in the form of Tax Credits, Child Benefits and Social Housing now does it?

UK, Ireland / Fertile Polish Women in the UK [87]

Of course Uk's fertility rate is so high compared to Poland's because of those benefits. you stop paying benefits total fertility rate will decrease. I think that decrease will be lower among Poles than average in UK.

Thanks.. Marysienka that's exactly what i think.

Poles are breeding more here to take advantage of benefits.

TommyG is having a mental breakdown.. his infatuation for everything Polish has gone into overload, in his primitive brain Polishness is the epitome of godliness and they can do no wrong

Why do lots and lots of discussion forums like this exist?

dzieciak.co.uk/forum/viewforum.php?f=78

Google Chrome has translated most of it into English.

There's a whole load of websites, forums, even facebook groups for the Polish "expats" in the United Kingdom. Just type into google "benefity w uk" (Benfits in the UK) and you'll find 72,000 results.

I should hope so seen as this is our country!!

I'm just saying a good percentage Poles are scroungers. They make no net contribution to our economy as a whole migrant group.
The British tax payer is feeding and supporting these people. Especially if they have children.

The only exception to this rule that i can think of are single young people who are living in shared housing paying rent and working full time.

Do you have figures to prove this? I believe Gordon Brown said quite the opposite a few years ago.
I imagine a lot of the income tax paid by Poles is spent on benefits claimed by British scroungers.
By the way you're completely off-topic and your obsession with Poles and benefits is really sad. Time to get a job/life...

I don't need to drag some figures up. Use your brain.

Average housing benefit payout is around £500 a month. How many people are paying 500 quid in income tax a month?

jesus.

Any income tax paid by these immigrants is completely negated and exceeded by topup benefits like Tax Credits and Housing Benefit. They're a NET DRAIN on our economy.

....And this is before we talk about the billions they send out of the country to Poland.

Many of which are second and third generation and therefore counted as UK born and British...

No read the stats again. Explicitly says UK-Born mothers.

It really is. There's many countries in Europe with UK populations. Why ain't the French breeding like animals over here? Germans?

Once again on these forums, things are diverted onto British people. It's OUR country lol.
I'd rather have scrounging lazy Brits here than foreigners. At least they continue our culture, language and traditions, don't send money out of our economy, don't build Polski Skleps everywhere and DON'T kill our carp and swans.

For an immigrant group over here.. supposedly "working" and "studying". That's a HELL of a lot of babies.
They're beating the Pakistanis and the Africans - Third-Worlders who know nothing better than breeding for benefits.

They're over here breeding because of the very generous benefits available.

£500 baby bonus
Giving birth and aftercare is free
Skip the queue for social housing if children are involved.
Child Tax Credits, Working Tax Credits etc etc
