News / What must be done to improve politics in Poland? [72]

i was born and live in america 3rd gen ok so my knowledge on this topic is left to PF and alot of historical and current speculative guessing

not to try to steal this thread but my question was:

how is the co-operation of germany and russia attributed to polands well being? i wouldnt even know where to search this so,

other than a pre ww2 non agretion pact, i read that leading up to the war that Germany was making claims and sanctions on poland much like pre-emptive war that we see today.

im not trying to steal a thread, this is my opinion that poland is threatend politicaly (and surviving as a country) by russia and germany or EU lets say partnering and giving poland the squeeze for lack of a better term.

i see tusk as a german and much like poland is/was the bread basket, that politically speaking the handle of the basket is anchored to germany and russia, haha sorry for that, am i wrong or is it obvious, either way the implications are dire and when a staunch nationalist pokes his head up he loses it,

not that nationalism is the answer or that the president was assassinated but ok i ramble and i realize im american, bye.

News / Poland leads nations in raising 90 million euros for Belarus opposition [73]

come to think of it since it is OT heh, i was watching a comparison of ww2 tanks how the nazis were machined and finished taking longer to build and less able to deflect ammo, where as the russains had casting defects left and other things youll have to look up, it finished with a modern day isreali tank with a smaller army they are made much heavier...speed is of the essence or a balance. anyway,

i dont really know whats going on other than the same old story, thats why i came on here they have not reported this AT ALL in usa, bye

...this is off wiki sooo...
As the names "Ruthenia" and "Rus" have very often been confused with their modern derivative "Russia", White Ruthenia has often been referred to as "White Russia". This misinterpretation has been supported by the Moscovite regents after the fall of Kievan Rus. The Moskovite dukes, starting with Ivan IV, considered themselves to be the rightful successors of the Ruthenian grand duke dynasty, and their use of the name "Russia" as referring to all former Ruthenian (east slavic) lands became a political weapon and a casus belli for claiming the west Ruthenian territories from Lithuania and Poland.

Isn't that meddling?

its meddling already rigging elections

does belaruse value its nationality over its freedom
but
it does bring up the opportunity of a slavic union lead by poland and who would america and the EU back when or if poland chose to take back something from russia, an aggressive affront if you will, absurd i know.

*edit lead by whoever but in particular poland since were on PF amoung other things
**edit obama is an americansky jellyfish, just trying his hardest to not mess up makes bad leadership but thats off topic, i was wondering if this has anything to do with the proposd missle instalation sites or not, maybe also OT maybe nOT

Travel / Has anyone seen Mazowsze (established in 1948) [9]

[quote"Mazowsze" was established by a decree issued by the Ministry of Culture and Art on 8 November 1948. The decree ordered Professor Tadeusz SygietyƄski to create a folk group that would maintain regional artistic traditions and the traditional folk repertoire of songs and dances of the Masovian countryside. The group was intended to protect this folk tradition from destruction and encapsulate its diversity, beauty and richness. At the beginning Mazowsze's repertoire contained songs and dances from only a few regions of Poland – Opoczno and Kurpie, but it soon extended its range by adopting the traditions of other regions.][/quote]

News / Decoded talks inside Poland's president's plane are released in Internet [337]

I still love the irony of someone posting about a conspiracy theory that includes all the top brass in Poland lying, fellow members of the Air Force lying and even better - the same conspiracy theory relies on the word of Germans and Muslims hell bent on jihad who think nothing of murdering innocent people. I love it!

all the top brass were killed ****************************************

talk about irony, better yet just keep it shut

russians are proven murder liars

News / Crash of Tu-154 at Smolensk-North--could it have been a bomb in the Polish plane? [233]

this is for Joe and its a bit off topic but i had to type it out so your welcome

The Benex Scandal
In 1996 large amounts of money were transferred from two Russian banks to accounts at the Bank of New York that had been opened in the name of Benex Worldwide. From there it was distributed through various shell company accounts in Europe. Two years later, in 1998, British authorities, who were investigating Russian Mafiya activities, informed the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of irregularities involved in the transfers of International Monetary Fund (IMF) dollars via the Bank of New York to the Russian capital, Moscow. The British investigators suspected collusion between a Russian company, YBM Magnex, believed to be a front for the alleged Russian Mafiya boss Semyon Mogilevich, and Benex in New York.

The owner of Benex, Peter Berlin, was married to a vice-president of the Bank of New York, Lucy Edwards. In late 1998, Berlin was arrested. It was reported that $4.2 billion had moved from Russia in more than 10,000 transactions between October 1998 and March 1999, many through Benex accounts at the Bank of New York. Money routed back to Europe passed through a British shell company and then on to Italy or France.

A two-year long police operation culminated in the arrest in June 2002 of more than 50 people. Two of these, Igor Berezovski and his twin Oleg, ran 10 shell companies from a one-roomed office in Paris that drew the authorities attention to them. Money transferred through Berezovski's labyrinth of financial accounts eventually made its way back to companies reportedly linked with the Ismolskaya and Soltsnevo criminal syndicates in Moscow.

The Italian authorities believe that as much as $9 billion of Russia Mafiya money was laundered between 1996 and 2002, the biggest international laundering operation ever uncovered.

News / Crash of Tu-154 at Smolensk-North--could it have been a bomb in the Polish plane? [233]

No matter how tragic it was, it was just another accident, as they happen all the time. No more, no less. Wonder if you write so much when an average passenger plane full of African ppl would crash.

you dont know that it was an accident, none of you do, the black comment is backhanded racist.

could it have been a bomb?

yes it could have, been a bomb

Captain Sullenburgermeister was able to direct the plane into the Hudson river

heh i thought that this might have been fishy too, being in the hudson next to the WTC site coinkidink, also people called it a miracle which it wasnt, it wasnt even a positive story i mean nobody died lets have a parade. its like saying that if the polish presidents plane came back from russia on its return flight that it would be a miracle, heh.

does anyone have any idea what came of the black sea crash in 2001 tel aviv to siberia?

What I say is that the reaction is quite expected and not surprising, at least for me.

sasha is it in your opinion enough to down LK's plane? im just asking

Yes, so all they did was raise the price of gas, which Poland agreed to without any fuss,

wasnt LK big on cutting off this dependancy?

anyway i realy feel no substantial reports will come of this "accident" and as time goes by another story will take over, then, in the future if were all still here youll hear that the russians downed the Polish presidents plane and youll either say to yourself oh thats interesting i remember that, or Oh see i knew it all along but my life got in the way cause nobody cared i was right, haha thats some speculation @Mare

News / Is it possible that Polish president was assasinated? If so then, by whom? [921]

why implicate russias guilty concieous by reasoning that a MISSLE DEFENSE SHIELD IN POLAND IS A THREAT TO RUSSIA sry, cap lock it is meant for Iran why by russia having a s**t over it when it has nothing to do with them.

i considered it jobs and payback for poland being a US ally, no? ok fine but keep in mind there are poles with boots on the ground in Iraq/Aphganistan.

btw joe we think alike, good or bad although i considered this assassination a deal made with EU or west, russia says ok for our co-op we want to do this guy, world looks the other way; the west get what it wants, russia handles Iran, no? i can come back to this later for now i go outside.

but, i like to piece together the motives by the headlines in the news at the same time while
US was hosting nuclear safety summit ill find some links later, ukraine agrees to rid stockpiles of nuclear waste and so on.

later

if an xplosive that was small and silent was installed in the wing do you think the poles would have found it in 130 hrs. then again if they found it at all it would be a problem.

also what happed to a tower/lines that was suppossedly hit,,,or not,,,any pics??? i realize it may just be witness accounts but what happend to that?

hold on a big black van just pulled up let me see what they want brb.
