It is a superstition in Poland.But when they say virgin they usually mean virgin from one access.

Netherlands cannot put severe resistance since it is completely flat.The only way to cause problems to a superior force is to put down the barriers to the sea and let the country overflow with water.Of course this means total disaster for the economy.Even Germans did not do this in WW2.

The natural terrain for resistance resides in the balkan mountains that is why the resistance was so fierce.(Partizans under Tito had over 500000 soldiers and fought against Wehrmacht in open combat.The same did Michailovic with another half a million guerilla army).Here in Greece we had guerilla army of 150000 guerillas which controlled 30% of the land during german-italian occupation and inflicted 10000 casualties to Germans.

The problem of Greece is that it is especially vulnerable from the sea from naval forces and this was the main reason for the civil war since Soviets did not want to include Greece to eastern block for its sea vulnerability.

Gypsies also play the violin.Especially in Hungary.Django Reinhard became famous for playing the guitar although he had only two fingers.
However greek gypsies steal and are constantly robbed by other gypsies.They even steal electricity from piles and some of them get killed attempting that.

As for machismo, ive never noticed that at all.

There is no machismo in Poland is a true statemant.

There is and there is not machismo in Poland at the same time.Dresiarz look like Serbs but most polish look intellectual.

Yes,in Athos.There is rumour that one woman managed to enter by dressing as a man but I don't believe it.Fact is women are not just allowed into the monasteries they cannot even set their feet on the ground of Athos(part of Chalkidiki) for the last 1500 years.

The problem with women is that they are extremely changeable.Even if you take all precautions and manage to predict everything you never know what is going to happen even a weather change can have devastating effects on a date.I thought my last Polka was reasonable till I saw the characteristic sparkle in the eyes and I was wondering what's wrong and where this craziness originates when she told me her period had come.So their eyes show their hormone levels,we Balkan warriors need to leave our swords sometimes.

The dinaric Serbs are extremely tall because they come from breeding of ancient Macedonians who were very tall with Slavs.We should not forget that Slavs have some of the tallest nations in Europe like Czechs(3rd tallest nation),Serbs,Croats and Poles.

that Italian and Greek women were ugly.

Greek young generation looks very good now it is difficult to differentiate them from russian or other balkan women.Italian women look clearly mediteranean.This mediteranean look has both advantages and disadvantages.(big breast,big bottom for example) but it is matter of taste,of preference.Slavic women have an edge though in general presentation especially the way they talk,freedom of movement etc,mediteranean are too stuck up and have thick cover.
