Love / Do you think that Polish should stick to Polish? [128]

Sluttiest women on Earth? WTF? No, Polish should not stick to Polish. Valuable other relationships are formed between cultures.

Just because Doda has 'guitar players finger better' doesn't mean they are all slutty ;)

News / Crash of Tu-154 at Smolensk-North--could it have been a bomb in the Polish plane? [233]

The next we know, we'll be hearing that excessive turbulence brought the plane down and then grenades were thrown by onstanders ;) ;)

There are a few things that don't add up here but can anybody who questions the official line answer me this, 'could you go around the world and hold conferences/deliver speeches on the refutations?'. Eminent scientists have done it regarding 9/11 and have done remarkably well but there just isn't enough to go on beyond speculation at the moment.

Food / What's your favorite Polish beer? [870]

Brackie is an acquired taste from CieszyƄ. I find it a bit sweet and 'flowery'. It is fine on a really warm day but, other than that, there are other options for choice.

Polonia / Poles and Austrians, do they get along? Vienna districts? [30]

I feel that they went against Serbian interests in the Balkans. Maybe I was a little inaccurate as they sided with Kucan's Slavic Slovenia. Their foreign minister at the time met with Genschner (German counterpart) and they discussed business with Kucan. Germanic people and Slavic people have different temperaments.

News / Crash of Tu-154 at Smolensk-North--could it have been a bomb in the Polish plane? [233]

Well, we know that people were on the ground there and, in all likelihood, that shots were fired. A bomb? You know, it's possible but how and from where? You can rule out the idea that it was pre-planted as you don't know where the plane was going to crash. It wasn't a sudden wipeout either according to the sources. The pilot tried in vain for some time to salvage the situation but to no avail. The last moments were described as 'distressing' (wow, no sh*t Sherlock). I don't think a bomb was involved based on what we have seen.

UK, Ireland / No job unless you're Polish [201]

Besides, the Irish government get a lot through taxes.

The British job market is a joke in places anyway. Good workers are being kept out of work that would enable them to support their families. However, they must remember that immigrants are just competing and that the government has to get tougher and clampdown on undercutting and unfair practices.

Love / Are Polish Women cold and aloof? [249]

Spud, you did your mother proud with that joke ;)'

Many I know aren't and that's reassuring. I can't stand cold people.

Love / Are Polish Women cold and aloof? [249]

Some are and some aren't. The ones in their twenties are better, further away from communism.

Love / Are Polish Women cold and aloof? [249]

Some are and some aren't. I had a student in class today who never fails to smile and create a light-hearted atmosphere, she's cool. I think it's worth repeating what I said earlier on in this thread. Many seem to open up in class when the right atmos is created but, on the streets, many come across as being jealously guarded and play this huffy, block-out game. I really get on very well with those that don't. In the local deli, they know me and are super friendly. Even when I'm beat after work, I still make an effort to smile and have a laugh/joke with them. They do likewise! If they are visibly snowed under and look jaded, I take it easy and am very patient. I read other peoples' energy/energies and work with it.

I think we can say that many oldies here are aloof but, then again, they were put through the ordeal that was communism. Younger ones, esp schoolgirls, are generally bright and peppy. Those in their thirties, well, it depends who they are surrounded by.

News / Kaczynski to be buried at Wawel ?! [289]

OK, let's see what Will Smith said :)

What is so good about the Vatican in your opinion? Protestants don't either, only theologians do ;) ;)

Aha, so wisdom that Protestants share as Christians, right? ;)

Never heard of that author :0 :) The Koran? Not really, no. I was watching a documentary at the time on it.
