Krakow is the worst city in Poland to get a teaching job in: absolutely anywhere else will be better. Your major problem is that you don't have a CELTA (or equivalent) and thus lack the main thing which Polish schools want. Sorry but your INTESOL certificate isn't worth the paper that it is printed on; any school which will employ people who have only that type of certification will also employ 'teachers' who have no qualifications at all. On the bright side, now is by far the best time of year to be looking for a teaching job.

Actually Czech forces requested that Poland observed the terms of the interim agreement which Poland had signed. And Poland was fighting neither Russia nor Germany at that time.

Public transport in Warsaw is pretty good. It is better to stick to trams where possible as the buses often get caught in traffic. Driving is not that bad when you get used to it but the traffic jams are getting worse and worse.

A non-CELTA course doesn't always count for nothing but it very simply puts you immediately at a disadvantage to candidates who do have the CELTA: a prospective employer has to decide whether they want to either research the course you did so as to check whether it is any good (which will take them time and offers no real guarantee anyway) or to take the risk that your course is not Mickey Mouse (given the number of rubbish courses out there, it is risk) or to simply hire the next best candidate who has got a CELTA.
