Travel / Would Polish visit Greece for it's islands or for it's history ? [30]

I would like to know how Polish people feel about travelling in Greece .

Why would anybody wanted to visit Greece to see some ruins? These Greeks are lazy bastards. We in Poland have rebuilt Warsaw which was almost totally destroyed within 20 years and the lazy Greeks still haven't rebuilt Acropol even though they had like a 1000 years to do it.Screw them, lazy a$$es.

News / HIV infected Nigerian has bitten bus ticket's controler in Cracow! [56]

Grubas, I never heard this term Afro African ?

No wonder you never did because I just coined(?) this new term and I hope it will soon become very popular.I came up with the idea after watching news regarding an assault carried by Nigerian crimminal on police officer in Warsaw and the demonstration of stupid a$$holes which followed that event.Interviewed witness (a women) trying to be PC, referred to black "traders" (crimminals) as Afro Americans and a$$holes taking part in demonstration refered to shot crimminal as Afro Polak.

So,since there are some white people living in Africa calling all people from Africa simply Africans may not be fair. For instance, lets say a white person from Africa commited a crime and you reading about it in a newspaper. Now, if they called him simply an African most people would wrongly assume that the said crimminal was black. You following me?This is not fair and highly racist therefor to avoid such mistakes and to make sure that black people are not wrongly blamed we should use term Euro African in relation to white people living in Africa and Afro African in relation to black ones.Makes sense to you?

I am even surprised that a Gazeta Wyborcza jounalist wrote an article about that.

Well,I am not.It doesnt happen often in Poland that person caught on riding public transit bites conductor and then jumps thru the window.I was once caught riding without ticket and I didn't bite anybody nor was I trying to escape thru the window. That's too extreme in my opinion.Sure,at first I was pretending that I am deaf (try it,it's a lot of fun) but when they didn't want to let me go and I got tired of it I accepted the ticket, threw it away right after they gave it to me and forgot about it.

Acctually recently I got a letter from some collection agency saying that they bought my fine, went to court and I have to pay them 400PLN.It don't bother me at all because I am not going to pay them and there is nothing they can do about it.

News / Andrzej Lepper committed suicide [98]

It is not normal to hear a rape alleagation from a prostitutes who accept even to be raped, for money.. So, she was most likely paid to do this rape allegation against a member of Leppek's party

In December 2005 Golik was accused of raping a Brussels prostitute. Golik claims that he is the victim of a conspiracy. He said the incident is just a provocation resulting from, among the others, actions undertaken by him against the Russia to Germany gas pipeline. On the demand of Golik, the Belgian prosecutor’s office asked the European Parliament to strip Golik of his immunity. On October 3, the Legal Commission of the European Parliament made a decision about stripping Bogdan Golik, a Polish member of the European Parliament, of his immunity. “I’m glad that I will finally be able to testify and defend myself, which would be impossible in case of my being protected by the immunity” – said Golik. He emphasized that he himself asked the Legal Commission to strip him of the immunity. In November 2008 the Royal Prosecutor stated that Golik is innocent and there is no evidence against him

News / HIV infected Nigerian has bitten bus ticket's controler in Cracow! [56]

It's not like some "*****" is going to be able to get justice in Poland when ordinary Poles can't get it where ticket controllers are concerned.

Here we go,"political corectness" at its best.Of course the controler must be a racist and surely he threatened this poor and nice Afro-African with violence. It could simply not be the case that Afro-African didn't have valid ticket. No way.The newspaper must be lying it was the bad, racist controler who forced poor and as always innocent Afro-African to bite him and then the controler threw the nice and polite chocolate boy thru the window. No doubt this is how was.

Now seriously, get the **** out of my country with your "PC" ****. This is Poland not UK and if you or some ***** don't like the way some things are done in this country you guys are free and encouraged to **** off back where you came from.

News / HIV infected Nigerian has bitten bus ticket's controler in Cracow! [56]

( got away so to speak)

He didn't get away.I just didn't feel like writing the whole story. He was caught.

Funny how you change your opinion so quickly, as soon as YOUR country starts having "ethnic problems". A few days before this happened, you called me a racist:

Because you are racist. As for me,I don't mind other races at all anywhere in the whole universe but Poland must be kept "white" because Poland already has enough problems.

News / HIV infected Nigerian has bitten bus ticket's controler in Cracow! [56]

According to yesterday's "Gazeta Wyborcza", the 33 year-old Nigerian national, who had bitten a ticket inspector in one of Cracow's buses, is HIV-positive. The man refused to show his ticket to the inspectors, and when they asked him for an ID, he attacked one of them, bit him in the arm and fingers, and jumped out of the window. It is not clear yet if the ticket controler has been infected since the test results are expected in 2-3 days.

It seems all of them Africans are HIV holders.Poland has to close the borders for them immidiatelly!

History / Why did communism in Poland fail? [180]

Because everything in Poland fails....

Just because you failed in Poland (and not only in Poland, you know what I am talking about) doesn't mean everything does.

UK, Ireland / Worst of the worst Poles emigrating to Britain? [32]

It is fair to say that many accepted menial jobs early days, knowing that they could get 7200PLN for doing a 1000 pounds a month job.

Bollocks dude.Only those who left Poland to work abroad temporarilly and short term with intention to go back to Poland count it the way you did.If I get paid in USD and spend in USD why would I care how much my wage is in PLN's???I don't care.

As for taking menial jobs,it is not like someone is taking ****** job because he or she likes it.But you got to start with something. It is not like taking menial job I agree to do it till the end of my life. You feel me?Sometimes you got to do what you got to do.

When I first came to US,my first job was at BK for $6.50/h,I worked there 2 (two) days because next day I found a job paying $8.50/h,then I found a job paying $10/h and so on,I have never changed better job for a worse one and I don't believe any sensible person ever did voluntarilly.

Life / How many Jewish people live in Poland? [145]

It's true, many Poles have Jewish ancestry and are completely unaware of it.

And what's the point?Even if I learned today that some of my ancestors were Jewish (sometimes I think I may be a bit Jew because of some of my character traits and me and my brother both have super Jewish first names) do you think I am going to put this funny cap on my head and grow pejsy?Hell no!Screw Jews,I am Polish and I am cool with that.

Law / Permanent Residence in Polska: procedures, list of documents, etc. [59]

'Karta Obywatelstwo' but you might find that the health insurance isn't any cheaper than private insurance and the quality of service far lower.

What's "Karta Obywatelstwo"???Never heard of that. And he doesn't have to pay for state health insurance, well at least not directly.

Law / What is better for money exchange - EUR to PLN in Germany or PLN to EUR in Poland? [18]

They are in many places near the border. I went shopping recently in Frankfurt (Oder) and didn't use Euro.

Of course places near the border are more willing to accept a currency from the other side of the border but the point is that some ignorant foraigners think that euros or USD are somehow better than PLN and people in PL will be happy to accept their "better" money.

Recently I read a travel to Poland report written by some dumb Yanks (not all of them are dumb). They crossed to Poland from Czech Rep.Somewhere in Poland they used restroom and tried to pay with some leftover Czech change. They where very surprised when the women taking care of the restrooms thrown this Czech change back at them and they made a taunting comment in their report that this "stupid" Polish women couldn't recognize a deal when offered. Now,WTF was she supposed to do with some Czech change?!

On a side note, when driving a taxi it happened to me couple of times that some foraigners didn't have USD and wanted to pay me in euros.I didn't mind that but my exchange rate was 1 to 1.

Work / Advice Needed - Buy or Rent Car for a Month before I start my new job? [7]

I disagree. There is plenty of cars in 500-1000 PLN price range, good enough to drive for a month or so.Last time I visited PL I bought myself a maluch for 300 PLN to drive around town, didn't bother to put it on my name (to be honest I didn't even bother to get this new DL and I still have the old 1991 issued one),drove it for a 2 months then junked it before going back to US.But my situation was probably different than the OP because I wasn't going to make any longer trips with this maluch.Driving a maluch is a lot of fun and I would love to have one in the US.

Travel / Watch out for airport personnel stealing stuff on regional Polish airports. [64]

But I have heard the mail isnt safe in Poland. so I try to not send fancy looking items to my
cousins when I do.

I have heard that in Moscow on Red Square they give cars away. Now seriously, last year I mailed from US to Poland to 3 different adresses but in the same town 3 big and I mean big packages full of brand new designer clothes Hilfiger,CK and so on.I declared each package worth $200 (maximum value of gifts) even though the value of stuff in prices I bought it for was about $500 each package.Of course I teared off all the prices and stuff indicating that these clothes are new.EVERYTHING arrived within 8 days, nothing was missing and none of packages was ever opened. Now, I had 1 bad experience in 2009 when my package also full of designer stuff arrived after like 40 or so days and even though nothing was missing the package was opened but the worst thing was that everything inside was wet and molded.I don't know what happened to that package and nobody could explain it to me here nor to my bro in PL.Here is an advice, if you ever mail package like that pack all the stuff inside additionally in plastic bags, that's what I do now.

That's my experience with mailing stuff from US to PL.On a side note, it has become bloody expensive to mail stuff from US to PL,it has cost me about $240 to mail these 3 packages.

History / Chance of Lwów once again became coming part of Poland [344]

Grubas, killing innocent people in that way is absolutely absurd

Bottom line is Poland needs nukes and/or chemical and bacteriological weapons to be respected and feared. And to make sure that nobody messes with us or face annihilation.

Language / Which language is easier for Poles? [43]

Yes but they should still be able to work it out and that's my point.

Oh I am sure they would but my point is do you want to speak Polish or some gibberish?I bet you already speak gibberish since you live na Ślunsku.

History / Chance of Lwów once again became coming part of Poland [344]

Any idea how much it would cost to bring Western Ukraine up to the same standard as Poland?

I wouldn't mind some dworek and few or more hectars of land in Eastern Poland (todays Ukraine) and I don't care about standard.

Stronger and bigger Poland? Are you seriously advocating imperialism and a drang nach osten here? Britain is much smaller than Poland but could nuke it into next week at the press of a button.

And this is exactly why Poland needs nukes so we can make Britain or whoever else a one big glowing parking lot when they try to be too smart.

So you are not a PO man then?

Me?I am not PO,PIS,SLD,PSL.I am a patriot and anarcho-libertarian.
