I must have adopted the Polish relaxed attitude because the pigeons still like my balcony and I could not care less at the moment.

The sun is shining, I am still feeling lazy trying to talk myself into doing something productive, but to no avail.

pigeons are becoming a problem

been to busy to deal with a couple of pigeons and now they think that my balcony is their quarter. I am being woken up the the sound of their voices every morning and I am beginning to think that they are out of control.

They are nice enough, but .........I will be using the balcony soon.

problem No 1. She thinks that you might do the same - not very reasonable, but possible, ask her.

my culture just not of the listening habit the woman dont say so much in east but still liberated now.

no, but I tried the meat ones, the cheese and spinach one, the fruit ones an I went back to Russkie, but my late mother used to make excellent ones with fresh cabbage and the meat ones as well- they were divine:)

I used to prefer Ruskia however since that day in a restaurant just outside Katowice the meat version gets my vote every time, man can they make peirogi, the stuff of legend its worth a 150 mile journey just for that - really.

this place looks good, the one I go to is kind of generic and all they sell is pierogies.

Things are kind of slow these days, working a LOT, not enough time for fun.

It will be the first time I will be going out to the pub tonight in 5 months - speaking of a dry spell;)

I will report later how the meeting with co-workers and the students went.

Polish Boots Mastered at last

Yes, I would like to report that I am an accomplished Polish Boot Wearer (if there is such a thing). After many failed attempts I can now walk in style. Ha!!!!!!!!!!!!! Zip it up baby!!!!!!!!!! Click. click.

Pierogies

there is a place Pierogarnia, which I have been occupying lately. Perogi Ruskie - here I come!!!!!! I became addicted to that place - the food is fresh, the interior cosy, so I gave up the milk bar where I had meals from time to time. Not to mention the presence of the big carp swimming in the aquarium, which, as I later found out is/was a large and well fed Pirania. That's what I like about Poland. The mix and mismatch of things, not always logical - but often amusing and charming.
