Political correctness is the enemy of truth, or at least of a good discussion...In the US, white children are now taught to hate themselves and our national heritage in public schools...Blacks are taught that they were/are victims and the white person must pay them for this...We are seeing a reversal of this in the Black community to a degree, because most Blacks are basically conservative and family oriented...It is the welfare mentality (i.e. 'you don't have to work: the 'man' owes you!) that has harmed the Black community the most...What many people do not understand is that there were white slaves also in Colonial America, some outright slaves, others in the form of 'indentured servants'...And, of course, Blacks sold their own into slavery during this period...The members of a 'losing tribe' in a conflict were forced onto the boat...Slavery is as old as the world, and has existed in virtually every society...It still exists in Africa now, bothe Blacks selling Blacks (Mali, one example) and Arabs selling Black Africans...White on White exists too, mostly in the form of prostitution and pedophile rings...During the Bosnian war, US Contractors in co-operation w/Serb mafias sold many women and girls into prostitution...Israelis and Russian Jews are heavily into this also, victimizing Slavic women primarily...I am 'non-racialist' in my world view, in the sense that I respect all cultures...However, I also try to understand history & reality.
