Anyways CNN is undoubtedly an influential network and it's lies should always be exposed to prevent misinformation. Americans additionally are prone to media and really disconnected from the rest of the World which basically means that "they believe in what they're being told".

After many cases of "Polish Death Camps" and blatant lies about Poland we have to deal with another one from dumb Americans.

General Director of Anti-Defamation(ROFL) League, Jonathan Greenblatt in his comment on Donald Trump's statement about the Holocaust where the new President didn't mention Jews said that Poland among other nations (Russia, Iran and Hungary) specifically refuse to acknowledge Hitler's attempt to exterminate Jews, "opting instead to talk about generic suffering rather than recognizing this catastrophic incident for what is(sic) was: the intended genocide of the Jewish people"

Poland had acknowledged the fact that German Nazis tried to exterminate Jews long before the word "Holocaust" was even invented. Polish government-in-exile as soon as in 1942 alarmed the United Nations about Nazis deliberately exterminating Polish Jews in death camps. Nobody knew anything about it before.

What a mendacious nation the USA is...

Omg. They based their planning on the information they had from like 30 years ago. They didn't bother to update it.

So they were provided with incorrect data by their Polish hosts. There, it didn't take you too long to finally admit that, did it.

Nope. They didn't ask Poland for any data. It is clearly stated by the American official in the article I linked before (your Polish must be awful even after so many many years in Poland). They didn't update their Intel which proves how incompetent they really are. Their Intel sucks. Their logistics suck. And seeing the tank ammunition flying off their vehicle and onto the road their drivers suck too.

Support the bit about them incorrectly calculating the height of their vehicles.

Jeez. Even my dog would understand it by now.

They knew the height of viaducts. They knew the height of their vehicles. They CALCULATED the gap between the roof of a tallest vehicle and the "ceiling" of viaducts before planning the route. Since they based their CALCULATIONS on incorrect data they MISSCALCULATED and got stuck under a bridge.

I am now quite sure of your disability

Of course I mean that. It's clearly stated in the article I linked. One would assume Harry after many many years spent in Poland (more than me. A native Pole) could easily read that.

It's the Yanks who didn't know the route they'll be traveling on. You can even read the interview with one of the US Army officials saying that (well you can't read Polish lol). Dyrekcja Dróg i Autostrad knows parameters of all bridges in Poland.

I've been living in Poland since before you were born.

I'll just laugh at that. You have no idea how old I am dude. I have travelled Poland from West to East and North to South more times than years you have been a guest here.

That article says that "bridges turned out to be lower than had been expected", nothing about Americans wrongly calculating the height of their vehicles.

Just lol. It says exactly that and that means both that the bridges were too low for their vehicles AND their vehicles were too high for the bridges.

By the way. You live/been living in Poland for decades and still can't speak the language? Are you handicapped in some way?

What's not true?

Foreigner not being able to ever speak native-level Polish isn't true. It is possible and I personally know people who do or are very close to that. They're Asian or Ukrainian, etc. None of them is a native English speaker though.

Of course there are a few places, forests, swamps, etc, where there aren't many roads, but you can also find such places in northern, southern and western Poland.

Much fewer. I live in Poland. It's you who visits it.

Fun fact. Americans damaged several bridges and viaducts by wrongly calculating their height and height of their vehicles lol. Yet I WILL PAY for repairs not them.

My husband is Polish and says that no foreginer would ever, ever, be mistaken for a native, no matter how good their Polish.

It's not true of course. Show the video to your husband. I'm pretty sure he'll agree with me about the guy's accent and pronounciation being quite poor or simply nothing outstanding especially if you take into account the time he spent on learning. It's obviously more than sufficient to easily communicate with the locals though.

Well. In the video you have posted they have shown too little of him speaking Polish to judge his skills. What he said in the beginning was just a few easy to memorise slogans (hardly sentences) with poor-to-mediocre pronounciation.

In other videos his pronounciation seems to be way better.



I can say it's quite good (although far cry from being perfect or indistinguishable from native) as for an Anglophone after JUST 6 years of learning.

I bet our forum's expert Lyzko sounds much better though ;)

NATO is nothing else but military version of institutions like EU. If you think NATO as mostly american military arm is about keeping peace in the World then there's no hope for you.

NATO is ideal only on paper. In reality it's more like corporate army used to secure business of the wealthy elite (just like EU). It is in place only to help US of Terrorists spread their influence and threat THEIR (not mine) enemy which is Russia.

On a side note. I do really hope that Polonia's rights to vote on Poland's feature (presidential elections or parliamentary ones) will be limited. I hate to live in a country shaped by basically foreigners that have nothing in common with Poland and are usually brainwashed by their host country political agendas.

Never heard anyone but some undereducated people say it that way and i speak Greater Polish. Greater Polish means almost "pure Polish" as devoid of dialects and localities. Trzysta in Greater Polish is "trzysta". Nothing else.

Above sentence is clearly a lie. The majority of Poles and Polish gov evidently wants yanks(?) in Poland.

I said once don't confuse Polish govt with Poles. Fact that our govt has a power to invite those terrorists into our country doesn't mean Poles want them here. What you think is like saying Americans wanted the Vietnam war to happen and continue because the US govt wanted that regardless of many anti-war manifestations.
