I hope they will not get one of those and try what this 'surfer' did.
They suffered enough.

News / New Polish Light Tank - Anders [74]

Any objections? Why? Germans are very rational and practical people. Abilities of the armor and the animal which is "sponsor" supposedly have some similarities. So why not?

Maybe it has even some psychological effect... ;-)

News / Pubs in Poznan kick out Roma? [256]

But Roma - totally different matter. Here it is well known as street thiefs and drug dealers. Local people trying to avoid them like a plague.

Did you ask yourself why? You think they chose that role/job/life?
Think about it when you see/meet one next time...
The society is simply not allowing their integration no matter what their 'traditions' are.

Well, we can blame you lot for that: if you'd finished what you got halfway through, there'd be none of them left to project any image at all.

Explain, please.

Be more creative. There are more -izms than are dreamt in your philosophies.

Bravo. You noiced that too, without 'dreaming'?
What are the other options than for current situation/problem/crisis whatever?
Those are the predominant concepts nowadays and that's it. In variations maybe at the most.
What now?

There was.

At least I didn't put it in that context.

Concepts of capitalism and socialism are military concepts

And me being naive thought that those are economic concepts...

USA, Canada / Education transfer USA (Micro biology from a technical university in Poland) [30]

a Master's degree in the sciences in the USA is completely different than a "Magister" in Poland

Yes, you are right.
US mastes degree, if not from some elite school is full BS while European Magister has much higher rank.
Unfortunately close to all European countries changed their system after the Bologna decision to become more 'anglo'. What a BS!
That makes the academic system or better their degrees more easy to get and the factor selection is much less important.
It's not all about standardization.

Kamerad, Comrade, Camarade, etc are military terms.
I have no knot. People including military people knotted themselves.

There was no military connection or whatsoever... I was thinking in completly different direction since you mentioned capitalizm, socializm... Now clearer?

US people have superior complexity?

Yes, because they are made to rule ;-)

They are the slaves of American corporations, well... mostly American. So do not bother.

I'm not bothering at all, knowing that the Chinese side in this moment(who knows for how much longer more...) has the longer breath, costly for US and friends, but that's the way it goes.

Fact is that the free capitalizm and social capitalizm have to make adjudtments or it's fast going down the drain...

News / Die Welt-Poland and Germany are the economic driving force of Europe [239]

Do we want to collapse, or do we want to even out the playing field?

I guess that 'we' are not in the position of demanding or anything in that directon.
Like US&A, EU etc. are more in the position to ask or to negotiate if having sth to offer. Right now the balance shifted in another direction (China), highly irritating for many but somehow logical...

This crisis will last for very long time because the ones who govern refuse to retire

Yes, the shocks on the stocks will repeat until they solve the major issue. Either they listen to independent experts(which you have enough) or the politicians go down the drain, with or without experts...

Anyway, we should prepare for some limping global financial system for some longer period.

Why do we need all that globalization that brought us here and who the fu1kk started this crisis??

Germany will pull out and bring mark back and welcome to fourth Reich

hahahaha...marek, that's unlikely to happen. D is so connected in EU and worldwide that for them there is no single path anymore...sure, they will lean on their economic power, why not? The question is more, how the others will respond to that?

For Germany the forecasts until now look quite g, but since Mrs. Merkel is insisting on the Euro I am not sure how long that will last. The possibility of future bail-outs is too big until the main problem is not solved.

Poland should get a bigger role in the economy because of its geographic position, potential in agriculture f.e.., but I suppose the big 3+1 have other plans...

You are right. Another US&A blabla...boring

History / If i could write European history i would unite Europe under Polish language [67]

I just don't like you guys

Why don't you like Russians? Please answer directly to the question, if you can.

Yes, I do have some personal reasons for my opinion about you but I don't feel like bringing it up on this forum.

I' m curious as I said. Feel free to write a PM.

Polish as an international language seems unnecessarily cruel to me.

Why? It would to me more look like a nice challenge for a change. ;-)

leave the Serbs out of it.

If they would not have been in Byzantine empire as soldiers and later being part of the army that stopped the Turks from invading Vienna, you would not write a sh1t, wherever the frakk you live...

English is a living example of a language that includes parts of all European languages

BS. The 'popularity/domination' is based on those countries which are mainly using it and/or where it is motherlanguage. Another point is, that we live still in a world(not only regarding language) dominated by Anglo, 'cause of their drive to dominate in some way and as a result f.e. in business or other fields the main language is English.

Try to convnce a Chinese or Russian in business meeting to speak English. Minimal chance...

As from my perspective it is simple to learn and that's it. Wouldn't mind if instead it would be Russian, Chinese, Spanish, Suaheli... etc. ;)

It most likely will impact global markets. It's something to think about now, before it happens, instead of being surprised when it does...

If you can aford it buy gold. That's always a good investment. Who knows which currency will be the 'healty' and 'dominant' one in the next couple of months, years... ;-)

Life / How many English native speakers in Poland? [28]

English native speakers approx 45,000
number has grown significantly over the last 5 years
still increasing

Any explanations? Just work? Family connections?

Guessing that growth might start to drop off.

Why that? Back in UK it's also not that nice, to be polite... ;-)

Life / I got beaten and kicks in my face just cuz i dont look polish [205]

im just dissing

That is your main purpose, right?

There's a difference where I'm standing. If I'm so arabic then how come I have white skin and dark blue eyes? Surely I might be half Polish but still... also Turks aren't arabs.... and yes there are Greeks who are related to Turks. Also maybe you shouldn't use Southern to stereotype all Greeks, just like I don't use Hitler to stereotype all you Germans.

That's all crapp what you wrote. You even don't know what you are. Decide or solve your psychological problems. Get medical attention. You don't have any integrety.

If southern is 'the Greek'- that would be great. Better than your half of sth anyway.

And pls no comparisment with me and a 2nd hand German-especially not A.H.. For that analogy is a better candidate here on PF.

News / Poland's atheist loonies have had their 5 minutes [239]

After all all Polish priests (especially the RM kind) are pure as snow.

Especially with the RM church, there is always dirt under the carpet. Polish are pobably better in hiding it ;-) Matter of time...

Life / I got beaten and kicks in my face just cuz i dont look polish [205]

Its the old story got to try a few jackets before you find one that fits

What about those who just want to 'try' and 'try' and 'try'...?

but the desire to explore

Agreed.

Southern for example he is an Arab Turk

Didn't know that a Greek is 'Arab-Turk'?! Maybe I attended the wrong geographic class...

fantasising about predominantly Eastern European white chicks

Fortunately it is like that. Wherever you look in fashion/top models, that field is full of them - and may I say justified.
I'm aware that preferences may differ, but the facts are there...

it's the governmental bureaucracy

that

can be found everywhere

Actually, both, raciszm and administration are universal 'torture' when it comes to foreigners. Talking about globalization doesn't mean live it to the last extend. Every country is somewhat protective. Normal. Just the degree differs.

So you are belonging then to the 'lucky ones' in terms of not being attacked? ;-)
