I agree a low amount of non-Poles in Poland is not such a bad thing.

Poland was at its weakest historically when it had the most diversity. Part of the reason Poland was partitioned was because of all the non-Poles in Poland becoming fifth columns and working with foreign enemies to undermine Poland.

Its seems like in just about any country in the world, the more diversity you have the more divisevness you have. Studies show in the US that the cities with the most diversity are the cities where people have the most anxiety. That should say something.

A limited amount of diversity is probably OK but it should be controlled.

You conveniently forgot the third explanation which was just given a basis by that recent Polish article on Polish investigators of the crash, that Seanus just referenced.

And that is that the Polish crew was actually GIVEN PERMSSION TO LAND, AFTER the Polish crew REQUESTED permission to land, despite the adamant repeating of the opposite by Russian authorities shortly after the crash.

I just read that Polish article.

According to that article, it said that investigator when he was in the US, said the major at the Smolensk airport GAVE permission for the airplane to land AFTER the Polish crew ASKED FOR PERMISSION to land. Hmmmmmm

As the article said, once the Polish plane was lured by the tower to go to 50 feet it was all over.

That's a good question Sean.

Even though I am proud of my Polish ancestry, I am MOST proud of being an American first.

But we have a government and media that is obsessed with race and ethnicity and frankly seems to be more concerned with non-Whites so that's probably why they don't care about the ethnic profile among White ethnic groups or about Whites in general.

In theory we Americans should just be proud of being identified as being AMERICAN period and therefore there should be no need for a census. I would be OK with this if Americans of all other ethnic groups and races went along with it as well.

But this probably won't happen since we have a government and media that is obsessed with race/ethnicity which sadly is not in favor of White Americans. They seem to want to know the growth or "progress" of the non-White population.

I checked off that I was a White American but I also wrote in that I was a Polish American.

This recent census was strange in that it did not ask for European ancestry like Irish, Italian, German, Polish, etc so I don't know how they will be able to tell what the ethnic European ancestry profile is in the US.

These things kind of remind of what happened to the past Polish pope when he was a young guy.
