News / Don't let Poland become like my country, France. [630]

But one German, namely you, does come on to this Polish discussion forum to advance a right-wing nationalist German agenda and to gleefully remember the time when sick perverts such as yourself were in charge of Poland.

He is proud of his country , accepts his country started a war , but unlike a lot of Germans is not prepared to hang his head in shame for all enternity over something that he , his father , and probably his grandfather had no part in ...

The forum needs to hear a German point of view on European matters , and the second war....

The second war should not be forgotton , but hey , it is over , lets not try to keep it going another hundred years....

Being proud of German military operations is not the same as taking delight in Nazi war crimes... give him a break....

She forgot to pay some taxes some years ago and police found out after they got her in the street...

Of course you have to wonder what a lady friend of Southerns was doing in the street to attract the attention of the police.....?

No I don't think we would be comfortable among your surroundings and atmosphere... it is about lifestyle and class.

Hey , my biker friends would not care if your wife was Black with purple stripes , they would either like her , and you , or not... We had a girl from Siri Lanka at our last zlot , she had no problems at all fitting in...

I was refering to the reception your wife would get from the local Polish villagers , they have probably never seen anyone who is not white , and from talking to them i suspect they don,t want to....

Plus, its none of your business.

It is when i have to read your spoutings on every thread on the forum....

This pretense that you love all the world and its people no matter what their colour is fine , i guess you have to say this in case your wife reads this forum , but do you really have to drag this peace , love and flowers into every thread where normal people with likes and dislikes have to read it....

Your religeon , whatever it is should be your personal thing , not something you try to vomit over everyone else...

How would you feel if in every thread i tried to convince everyone to be a biker and follow the biker lifestyle...?

Most of us do not follow your beliefs , and at times your mask of divine perfection slips and its revealed you don,t even follow your own beliefs....

Poland is not multi cultural , and it will be a long time before it is , thanks mainly to people like you , Polish people...

I am sure that having a Korean wife makes you wish very much that Poland was full of people of all colours , but its not , and won,t be in your lifetime...

If you brought your wife to the area where i live the locals would stare at her like she just got off a UfO , thats just the way it is in Poland , at least in the rural areas...

By the way , i have nothing against Buddists , i think they are great people who truly believe in what they are...but i do have a problem with people who just talk the talk , but don,t walk the walk...

History / Why did Russia attack Poland in WW2? [178]

The average Pole is about 37, the population is about 39 million and about 15% of the Polish population is 65 and older. Its good Poland improved its demographics much more then Germany improve hers since the end of WWII but it needs to do more just in case there maybe some aggression coming from Germany. I don't think there will, but you never know.

Unfortunatly the average 37 year old Pole is not living in Poland...he is working in Germany , or France , or the UK....

I don't know if i'll get banned for this.

I don,t see any reason for a ban , much worse has been said on this forum...

You don,t sound like a racist to me , just somebody who is worried for the future of his country , i have similar worries about my country , the UK , but i don,t know what the answer is..?

Even if you stop immigration altogether , there are large numbers of non white people who were born in the UK , you can,t really throw them out , nor should you...

Most immigrants fit in well with the British way of life , work hard , and don,t cause any problems , but there are significant numbers who want to turn the UK into something that lots of British people , including me can,t accept....

When you cannot display the flag of your country proudly without upsetting somebody , and being called a racist or a Nazi there is something shamefully wrong , and it bothers me...

At the moment i do not live in the UK , my home is in Poland , there is a Polish flag flying over my house , i obey the Polish laws , fit in with Polish life , and don,t expect Poland to change its way of life to suit me...

Very soon i will be moving to Russia , and the same goes for that country , i shall have to accept the laws and way of life there , and if i find i do not like it , then i shall just have to move my ass somewhere else....

I get a little bit annoyed with people who come to the UK for its easy life , its free handouts and freedom , and then start making problems because the UK is not run the way the country they chose to run away from is...

As i said , i do not know what the answer is , but i do believe its a problem that is going to end in violence...

For the moment Poland does not have the problems at the same level as the UK does , probably because its not possible to walk into Poland , get a free house and a pile of dosh given you , but Poland is in the EU now , who knows what the future will bring....?

News / Poland's Lost Generation [172]

While Polish hospitals are already lacking at least 50,000 nurses, several thousand more of them could up and leave for Britain.

It won,t be a problem when most of the Poles are in the UK....

A bit worrying for those of us Remaining in Polska....so . if you are not feeling well , better head to the UK to get sick....

News / Grafitti plague in Warsaw [84]

They aren't. Grafitti is deliberate damage to the built environment - prehistoric cave paintings are interior decor.

But maybe the neighbours sneaked in and did it while the cave owners were out....?

History / Why did Russia attack Poland in WW2? [178]

cities are no fortresses sooner or later they will be taken

Lenningrad and Stalingrad held out against all odds... Cities are terrible places to attack ...much better to go around them and cut them off...

Any army that has to actually go into a city and take it always suffers heavy losses...

Warsaw surrended because it was seen that a fight to the death would have caused huge civilian casualties , and would not have changed the outcome of the war...

If they had decided to fight to the last man it would have taken the Germans months to bomb the place into dust to take it...

History / Why did Russia attack Poland in WW2? [178]

Warsaw they were digging the trenches

In cities you don,t need trenches , every building becomes a bunker , and in the narrow Polish streets a German tank with the hatches closed was an easy target....

As a result of the losses in Polish towns and cities the Germans ordered that Panzers were not to be sent into cities without close support from Panzer grenadiers....

We are not talking about the mighty Tiger and Panther tanks here , they were mostly light tanks , and the Polish anti tank guns were quite capable of knocking them out...

News / Grafitti plague in Warsaw [84]

And have you ever thought that all those prehistoric paintings are graffiti as well?

So in a million years time some boffin is going to look at the cave paintings , and the graffiti in Warsaw....and decide that civilisation went backwards....

History / Why did Russia attack Poland in WW2? [178]

Yes the Germans had it pretty much in their favour in open country , but the panzers suffered heavy losses when they were foolish enough to send them into well defended cities...

The Russians made the same mistake in Berlin...

I think the question we should be asking is ............ So this is your profession or this is your job, so what do you do on the quiet ?

No , i don,t make a living out of shipping cars to Poland.... I have brought a few over for Polish friends but i did not make any money out of them , just charged them for the fuel and ferry costs...

I don,t do anything on the quiet , especially if i go to work on my Harley...

At the moment i make enough money to eat and pay my bills from helping a friend build custom Harley,s...

I won,t have a proper job until i go to Moscow...

what does it cost on average in poland for conversion

It depends on the car , some are easier to convert than others , and it depends who is doing the conversion , and how good it is....

WHAT ABOUT POLISH EARNINGS. DO THEY EQUATE WITH THE REST OF EUROPE ?

There is something wrong somewhere , when wages are so low , and yet cars , among other things are so dam expensive in Poland....

Its good news for Poles that want to make a bit of dosh though...you can fly to the UK , buy a car , drive it to Polska , and sell it for parts or for conversion to left hand drive.... A Polish friend of mine makes a living this way....
