im not a massive fan of british cuisine. i think its bland and boring. prefer the more exotic stuff. Indian food is my favorite by far!

Roast Dinner on a Sunday is a must though. English breakfast once in a while as a treat, fish and chips.. bah only sometimes, but it's usually chinese people in some ****** run down chip shop doing the cooking and it aint great!

yes we have a great beer culture some of the best and oldest breweries in the world are from the UK. But the average guy will drink foreign cheap **** on tap in the pub.

Most popular bottled beers - things like becks, budweiser.

The only "true" British beers are the proper brown ales, like Fullers London Pride. Or Boddingtons. Not very popular at all except with old people.

We eat everything in the UK... didn't you know?? Indian, Chinese, Italian, Turkish restaurants all in abundance.

I think the only "British" meal that i eat is a Sunday roast, which is just roast meat, potatoes and veg.

let's say for arguments sake, there is a 50/50 ratio of working-poles and sponging poles. Do you think the average tax/NI contributions make up for the sponging pole who comes over with a baby? with her council house, child benefit, tax credits etc. err NO

Im a enthusiast for "proper" ales, i always buy craft beers and single bottles to try. However cost doesn't always mean i can afford such quantities so i do go for the mass-produced "shit". Can't argue with a nice cold pint of stella for a drink in the sun :-D
