No, there is no conspiracy, nothing was 'instigated' however there are genuine concerns.

For starters - how do you that there were nothing of the sort. All it takes is right man with button to push, and that would make it conspiracy yes!

that the media should only print things about Poland that are unfailingly positive.

The difference is that we actually deal with the issue, unlike Poland which has an ostrich mentality.

Tell me how a country can have a mentality ?
anyway that is all rubbish, I would like to know who instigated (yes it is conspiracy) that program made ,,,,and believe me that kind of program or similar could be made

in any european country - don't kid yourself !
The reason that program (obviously biased)appeared on the news is that some circles in Europe are prejudiced against Poland.

The BBC and football authorities have a bit of history, BBC generally hates them and this maybe a way of attacking them for not dealing with racism (and corruption) in football

I don't suppose it makes much difference to someone who is attacked, whether it's an organised gang with a name and flag or just a handful of Legia hools.

but it make a difference to the country which is hypocritically portrayed as a racist by press of those countries who themselves have much more to be accounted for, they can for a moment feel better about themselves....

Unfortunately that will be the impression given to the world. it will appear as a 15 second clip on the news with supporters giving a Nazi salute and every time the football comes on again the same message will be seared into memory over and over again.

Nobody will un-remember the impression, I'm afraid. A good reputation is very hard to win and extremely easy to lose.

As far as I know, he's on the verge of being hauled up for abusing his power. There is certainly a plan to strip him of his parliamentary immunity.

They will never do it ! Just a friendly jousting !

The prosecution service - which is not independent - make that decision. And 'trwam' had some pretty influential supporters during the PiS regime, no?

Any proof ?or just a conspiracy theory ?

Indeed, the manipulation of the prosecutors by PiS was pretty sickening. Much of what PO is doing is reversing the damage done by those crazy couple of years - when you realise how many people owed their position to Jaroslaw Kaczynski,

Wasn't there parliamentary commission set by PO to investigate alleged misuses of power during Kaczynski "regime" - they found - attention attention .... nothing of the sort!

I would advice you to not use those words while speaking or writing under your real name - it is an open invitation for suing !

Which genius decide we wanted to be closely associated with them? Really funny. You think anyone from outside Poland will differentiate?

Funny as in "funny". Well I think if they would say - Ukrainian instead of Ukraine and Poland they would, there is foul play in action.

Poland could put away for a time being those hundred or hundred and one idiots, and Ukraine could put all those thousands of chauvinists into gulag.

What should be done really - they should track down those forces who instigated that anti- Polish campaign and teach them the lesson. ( they will never do it)

It's always a laugh to read the dispatches coming from all these kumbaya expats and their long-suffering plight in Poland

Can't you read is not about some ex-pats perception is about news in western TV!

It concerns the political future of Poland so it is part of the debate. Fundamental questions need asking.

Fundamental questions for Poland's future:
Organize of the country into local national manner or give in to global forces with global government, which means firstly playing role of the EU colony.

A chunk of Polish population opted for the last option, those not really attached to Polish culture and of opportunistic nature - Soviets - mentally left overs from the Soviet occupation.

Some are opting for the former hence hose divided in Poland.
It need to be mended first, you surly agree.
Unfortunately many voters are fooled that it is only about political debate.

No. Freedom of expression and freedom of speech are indivisible.

That is what some would like people to believe but it ain't so !

secondly they weren't prosecuted because the ruling party at the time, the PiS/LPR/Samoobrona coalition were their biggest (indeed only) allies.

Are you claiming there isn't i an independent judiciary in Poland ?Are you are claiming that somehow government use some secretive means to influence that case isn't that a conspiracy theory you were so contemptuous about some time ago ?

I live and work in Poland. They still haven't got over the communist mentality were factory workers would sit playing cards all day

If you live in Poland then you are aware that is a nonsense. With high unemployment, workers need to be buzzing about to keep their job.

If the play cards all that it means they can, and it hes nothing to with mentality but all with management. Hell any workers in Europe would do the same if they could.

ndeed go to any branch of rtveuro and you have to have your purchase scanned and an invoice produce by one member of staff which is then taken to another. I have seen countless examples of bad workmanship especially in the dire state of roads and pavements (poles have never heard of compacting the hardcore and therefore all roads have cart-grooves).

That is a different matter, that is just exploitation of Poles in progress by ex-soviets and opportunist who used all tools at their disposal to sit themselves pretty.Do not mistake them for Poles.

In the UK we have a higher percentage of people in work so this whole the 'british are lazier' then the Poles doesn't wash with me.

What percentage has to do with anything ? I wouldn't say that British are lazier, all depend on circumstances and people involved.

As for them being cheap!! why else do companies relocate here?

There are only 4 in the country. But they want it all. And their record of illegally spamming the airwaves in Warsaw and on cable platforms suggests they don't care how they get it.

Freedom of expression is something else than freedom of speech! The freedom of speech is there to let people criticize government without fear of being prosecuted.

Freedom of expression is just interest of few for the few for the sole purpose of offending general public.
Government that says - do whatever you like as long as you support me - is supporting freedom of expression but it is not the same as favoring freedom of speech !

Congratulation on completing your excessive research of trwam supporters (if there such category) and of the rydzyk empire (I wasn't aware that was an empire, I thought they have been refused place on multiplex because of their poor financial standing i.e. that wouldn't be able to pay, and here empire wow! ). There must have been laborious research otherwise you would be talking out your ass.When can we see publication ?

Unlike the trwamists who would be quite satisfied if theres was the only tv station on air.

How long will it all last ? Whiteout EU grants with huge debts to be paid , with the enormous number of people employed in administration?

Without a growing GDP, the standard of living will not increase fool.

Growing GPD is one of the indication of growing economy and sometimes of growing standard of living, not other way around.
