Indeed you are right.

I'm not sure Uncle Sam would have won the war either( Britain would defiantly not have won alone.), had Hitler not invaded Russia, than a stalemate would have ensued, Rommel may well have won in the desert if he had all the Eastern Front troops at his disposa

Care to explain? Are you speculating how the war would play out without Russia?

Poland was never liberated by the Soviets

In essence Poland as a physical nation was liberated by the Russians AND at the same time occupied.
For example when the Uprisings were happening. The Russians stood there. If Russians AND Poles
went in that would be more LIBERATION than saying go to hell Poland.

My parents from Poland and perhaps by grand parents said they
were happier with the Russians than the Germans. Of course the "communism" didnt help them after the war but my folks were still fairly wealthy Poles.

I think Canada should open its eyes and remember what is good about Canada and why so many immigrated there and stop watching the crap that comes out of the U.S.

I agree. I must admit that Canada doesnt have alot of 'content' when it comes to movies. We would be watching repeats really fast without the American shows.

Since I am interested in sports I also realize they hardly show central or east Europe sports on tv.
Sometimes they will be showing POKER AND DARTS instead of more real sports like Football (soccer).

You know how Canada can fix that? By making the National language French and getting rid of English. This way if all Canadians spoke French as their first language that would be a firewall from scummy American culture. Canadian culture would truly blossom.

That would be like a slap in the face to some Canadians.
I know here in Ontario they teach French but in British Colombia I dont think its mandatory (correct me if I am wrong).
I was never too good at learning how to write in different languages including French. Reading and talking is probably easier.

First hand experience.

If you follow the Robert Dzienkanski case you will know that the RCMP are now facing charges for what they did to that poor man.

Its been a long time since and they arent in jail yet. Like I have said the only thing they got so far was a deskjob. Thats hardly a punchment... more like a joke. There is no excuse of killing an innocent man. The bureaucracy and time takes way too long.

Visible 'minorities' will start getting more power. The people in power will allow MORE multicultarism/diversity/WHATEVER hell you wish to call it.

People who would normally easily get in will have to waste their time so that more colored people will invade the lands.

Many of The RCMP and whatever police they have in western Canada are just scum. Not much better in the rest of Canada either.

The fact is that even today many "Canadians" look down on many Slavic people. They will make fun of your lastname, they will say you are a commie, you are behind times, blah blah blah. The Cold War didnt help either.

The police originally seemed to dislike 'third world immigrants' and non-white 'minorities'.
But now that any idiot can pull the word racist they are more scared to arrest those peoples.
This led to more minorities being hired in the police forces. Police had to be more 'careful'.

A complete joke of a case was the Dziekanski case...

The hearings and trails were too long, the cops should have been arrested and imprisoned for years, banned from the RCMP for lifetime, and never allowed to hold a gun again. Instead they were given desk jobs. More like a promotion than demotion.

All I would say is this. I could excuse Russian past since 1000ad of Poland.
I could excuse them for 1939 invasion (although they could have umm helped us instead). Maybe prevents millions of loses.
But when uprisings were happening I dont like that they waited. It would have been sweet as a joint operation.
And then theres the USSR thing. That sucked too.

In general though I forgive them. Slavic people need to get along not hold old grudges.

Not genetic tests, my maternal grandmother was lying about the fact she was Jewish, she changed her name, and only now Iv'e discovered documents that show that her parents were Jewish. being a Jew is determined through the descent of the mother, so technically I'm also Jewish.

Only an x amount of Jews follow this idea that its descent of he mother.
A good number still claim they are Jewish if it was from father side or even grandparents, etc.
