ageing aunts

On PF there sure is no lack of presumed males who often act like gossipy village biddies and obsessive spinster aunts. And all or most happen to be Brito-Expats. Quite a coincidence, eh?

Such people are going to find it interesting

It's very interesting. It certainly shows how the twins used the old PRL system to acquire power, and why many of their recent tactics (votes in the middle of the night, hounding innocent professors, etc) are based entirely on what lessons were learnt then.

Dude was a friggin corporal in the AK, a squad (several soldiers) commander during the Warsaw Uprising. He was promoted to 2nd LT while a German POW. Not involved in "independence underground" in the post war period, a guy with high school education was an asset in early PRL times when the shortage of educated people was huge. Nothing unusual in him becoming a student. Quite a few low rank AK members were even making careers in PRL's army and after 1956, AK service became totally irrelevant unless someone kept fighting against commies after German occupation ended, which some small groups did for a couple of years. Trying to make him some big shot of the AK (dude was 22 when the war ended) and fat cat of PZPR (lowest rank member at worst) is just one more example of pathetic manipulation the crowd of "democrats" is carrying out. Especially when at the same time mentioning Michnik's daddy and bro (stalinistic murderers) or Tusk's father serving in Wehrmacht is "outrageous". People see this nonsense, you will end up in the bin together with this rubbish.

So he was an officer.

No amount of abuse will change the facts as Harry posted them.

facts

There are no facts, just nasty manipulations. Just like about Kaczyński's "luxury villa". Here it is:

You've just conveniently forgotten to mention that it's in Żoliborz. Perhaps Harry or another resident of Warsaw can tell us about the kind of money that lives in Żoliborz.

Perhaps Harry or another resident of Warsaw can tell us

Yeah, Harry (another "expat") will tell us that Kaczyński himself was serving as a guard at the Auschwitz camp to buy that "luxury villa". Feckin comedy.

Notice how Greggy completely diverts the topic from the fact that a villa in Żoliborz costs a considerable amount of cash.

Rich people.

Working from the size of the balcony door in the photo and using that to estimate the size of the windows and thus the length of the front wall, the front of each half of that villa appears to be about 8 metres wide. Using the 'twice as deep as wide' rule for semi-detached houses, we can assume it's 16m deep and thus each floor is 128 sqm. It's three floors, so 384 sqm. In that area you're looking at a minimum of 10,000zl per sqm. That place looks to be in slightly below average condition but it actually isn't, it's had some very very expensive work done to it, as said in gregy took that photo from, which is why he didn't link to the article; anyway lets' say 10,000 per sqm: that's about 3.84 million zloty. I seem to remember that Polo says that assets of over 3 million zloty is "a staggering fortune by Polish standards".

a villa in Żoliborz costs a considerable amount of cash.

Actually, the house that was built for AK officer turned educator of the elite, Rajmund Kaczynski, would be worth more as an empty site, the ground there would be far more valuable than that house, were it not for the very expensive work done on the house. But we're as likely to get answers as to how Rajmund's son funded that work on his MP's salary as we are to get answers as to how Rajmund rose so far and so fast without being a turncoat traitor.

This is indeed the essence of the views that these "democrats" hold. We an call that

Feckin comedy.

As one of prominent Gerries has recently said: "we can't afford to lose Poland".

"luxury villa".

Which half belongs to Kaczyński? The one at left looks rather shoddy nad neglected.

that lives in Żoliborz.

Now, at the time it was the only place in Warsaw that some pre-war intelligencia were living in a close vicinity. That alleged villa which is just a house have been purchased in 1981.

Your alleged facts re just a pathetic drivel noting else, nothing of any substance.
