Is there a Polish version of ancestry.uk?

Hi There, This is the first time I have used anything like this and my internet is slow so appologies beforehand.

Does anyone in the uk or Poland here know if there is a site that can trace your POLISH ancestry available in England.I know my English ancestry.

most websites that deal with Polish genealogy are actually american.

it might be easier if u just gave us a name and possible place of birth.

then we can help with what will be your first problem... spelling differences and place-name changes.

Click on moi krewni.pl/mapa/, type in your surname and hit SZUKAJ!

but if one uses the wrong spelling (changed from original) or doesn't use Polish characters (like for example ą ł ś) then the result will be false.

the same problem can occur on other Polish genealogy websites.
