Ever try Stawski beer?

Anyone ever tried Stawski beer? There are 3 types: lager, ale and malt liquor. It is presumably brewed in Poland (but by whom?) and marketed in Chicagoland under an own label.

It is brewed and bottled by Van Pur in Poland- which is one of the big monopolies. I have never seen it here- but it looks to me like it is made specifically for Stawski to be sold in the u.s.

I have sampled Van Pur lager (but no Stawski beers) in the past. Not bad but with a slightly unusual flavour trwist I can't put my finger on. Tastes are bloody difficult

to describe in the first place.

Can't say I've had the honor of trying Stawski, as of yet. Haven't seen it at any of the Polish festivals or restaurants either. Just looked online and California is supposedly one of the states, where the beer is available.

About the worst American I have ever tried is Bud Lite. A distinct tasting beer is (was?) Carling Red Cap Ale, but you don't see it around much anymore. In Poland the latest fad is piwo niepasteryzowane. It should have an exrremly short shelf life if it's for real, but probably it's just another gimmick.

could be. I like the non pasteurized- it doesn't give me a headache the next day- so many of the beer that used to be good got taken out by Carlesburg and Heinekin that the tastes and quality have been altered.

Yes. I've had the lager and ale. I like the ale better. I've had many Polish beers and this is one of my favorites
