Irish cheese isnt great, so I am lost as to why a German cheese company calls it so. Easi-singles quality is all that is found in Irish supermarkets.
Ireland like the UK has good milk, butter and Cheese. The Greeks. for instance, will never compete with all that rain. I find it very hard to believe that Irish cheese will be/can be made in Germany without breaking EU laws on Origin. I'd think its Irish cheese packaged up in Germany.
edit:
Especially as DAIRYGOLD is an Irish company.
Dairygold Food Ingredients Ltd (DFI) is Ireland's second largest milk producer, processing over c. 960 million litres annually into top quality dairy products. Based in the heart of Ireland's fertile milk producing region, we source our milk solely from shareholders' grass-fed herds based in the temperate climate of South West Irelan
