Food coloring ingredients to buy in Poland?

I'm trying to find food coloring. I went to a Carrefour in Warsaw asking for "barwienia żywności" (from Google Translate), but they said they didn't have it.

Am I asking for the wrong thing, or is that something they probably just don't carry? If so, where can I find it?

Ask for "barwnik spożywczy" or "barwniki spożywcze". The cheapest way to get them is Allegro or specialized shops like this one in Poznan:

Yes, ask for "barwniki spożywcze". You should know that people in Poland don't use it very often.

if you check at a Kuchnia Swiat- they usually have it. the one in Konstancin has it.
