Could be, but it's more of a concentrated juice so theres really not much added. She likes it strong anyway :) I don't care for it though. I'm not into sweet beer.
What's your favorite Polish beer?
OK, Tyskie.
Where are those times gone, when even small towns had their own breweries ? Before the II WW, for instance, there were breweries in Opole, Grodków (however those towns were still within German Reich). It's a pity that those factories lay in ruins now.

Has anyone seen all the beers listed on this website:
yespils.com/index.php?path=sel
There are some I've never heard of. They seem to be regional... I never saw beers like "Kujawiak" in Warsaw or Krakow pubs/clubs.
When I was in Poland, I stuck to Zywiec, Okocim, and Lech. Zywiec seemed to be the best (and most common). A local female told me that only girls drink Lech (anyone agree with that?), so I avoided it later in my trip.
Can't wait to get back to PL to enjoy a cold one or two... or 10.

Do you have Becherovka in Poland? It is Popular in the Czech Republic and VERY nice. It is only 38% though so a little weaker than your vodka......

Zywiec is a damn fine beer, and quite readily available in Australia.
I has warka strong when i was in pl and i thought it was awesome, unfortunately, you can't get warka in australia.
I never had Tyskie but everyone says how good it is, what kind of beer is it?

Tyskie is quite strong and is quite popular in Poland (especially that it has good PR campaign - it's a sponsor of Wisla Krakow and other sports teams).

It's a lager. Bit hoppy and not too much of an alcohol taste. Pretty good beer.

Zywiec reminded me of Heineken, but it's definitely got a better taste IMO. Zywiec is the only Polish beer anyone carries around here. Maybe I gotta make a beer run into Bayonne. :)

yeah KK... thats really weird... i even have a promotional t shirt from ten years ago but nowadays... nothing... weird... does anyone know why...?

I just got back from Poland with my wife and had a number of beers there that were not available for sale here in my hometown of Chicago. After the trip my favorite Polish beers are as follows:
1. Wojak
2. Fratter
3. Lech
4. Okocim
5. Zywiec
6. Warka
7. Harnas
Wojak and Fratter are fantastic but hard to find. I found Wojak at Kaufland in Bielsko-Biala and Fratter in a local Albert supermarker within the Karpackie neighborhood in Bielsko-Biala. I wish these two beers were available in Chicago. They are fantastic!
Anyone else had these beers?
