Well I just checked Roz and there is a Hazel Foster who's a recruitment consultant with a medical recruitment agency. She previously worked for the NHS and she's only been in her present job for a month so she's probably still using her old email - if it's the same person.

The emails is certanly NOT a fake email address, all NHS email addresses end in nhs.net and although I have only been in this role one month I have worked in the NHS a number of years and if you move from one organisation to another you keep the same email address.
Its not false representative I do work in the NHS and there is a shortage of GPS in the North West of England and I am working in partnership with a company to find GPs that is why my name if there for further information about General Practice and how it works

Oh, no, Hazel. That is so utterly wrong, and even fraudulent. If you no longer work for the NHS, you are certainly not entitled to use that email address anymore. If you still work for the NHS, you are entitled to use it strictly for business directly related to NHS activity, and not your unrelated recruiting activity. Wherever did you get the idea you could? Please stop using it immediately as it is a gross ethical violation, which I am reporting forthwith to NHS risk management.

You will still have to explain it to risk management. I've already copied your messages to send to them. You do realize this might well have cost you your job. This is not a minor offense.

And what, then, did you expect for unauthorized use of an official NHS email address? You tried to pull a fast one, got caught, and now will have to pay the price.
I wouldn't call it threatening. He's a doctor himself and he's talking about reporting you to the appropriate authorities for what he perceives as professional misconduct/unethical behaviour.
Your original post isn't clear as it suggests that you are recruiting on behalf of the NHS. If you're not recruiting directly for them but through an agency, you should have used your agency email address. Otherwise it's misleading to candidates.

I'm sorry about that, we do have agency working for us and I used their speil I was just trying to use my initiative when I was found this forum for something else but as you say I seem to have done something wrong without knowing I did. I will have to deal with the consequences and I am finding it very upsetting as I did not try to pull a fast one as I am not that type of person. I did not know I could not use my nhs email address and that it would be a breach of some risk but will now have to wait and see and if I do loose my job over a mistake it will be a hard lesson.
I wont be using the site again as its caused me so much stress for something I thought would a helpful forum
If you made a genuine mistake, you'll probably get a slap on the wrist but you're unlikely to lose your job. Unless you've been in trouble before for something else you should be ok.
However it's still very unclear who or what you are. You:
a) Work at a medical practice which needs GPs. b) You work for the NHS c) You are associated with a Dr Quang from Medics Recruitment International and on your internet profile you: d) Work as a recruitment consultant for Manchester Recruitment International and you previously worked for a hospital, not a medical practice, in Manchester.

I did look up the OP before I answered, and was surprised to find that this is someone high up enough on the food chain to know full well what they were doing, and understand exactly why it was wrong. Actually, quite a bit further up the food chain than I was prepared for. This was no innocent mistake by some low level flunky who could plead ignorance, and it wasn't "a bit inappropriate", it was way over the top unethical.
In any case, the matter is now in the hands of NHS risk management. I think you underestimate the gravity of the matter from a medical professional's standpoint. This makes us all look bad.
If I understand, the OP works for the NHS which is itself working with a private company to place doctors where there are shortages. Why is using the NHS address in such a context such a violation?
(granted looking for professional employees on this forum is kind of (extremely) stupid and/or misguided, but how would a non-member realize that?)

oh just that the NHS is (supposedly) a nationalised organisation, and she was using an NHS address despite representing a private agency. maybe it is fine, I don't know, it just seems a bit dodgy.
Because the private recruiting activity she is engaged in is commercial and is not authorized by the NHS. She also lists herself as employed at this recruiting agency. It is deceptive to present herself as a NHS employee when she is furthering the commercial interest of the recruiting agency. She is obligated to keep those spheres of her activities strictly separate to avoid a conflict of interest
It is also not clear whether she is still an NHS employee anymore at all, and is thus authorized to use the NHS address for any purpose. Her online profile gives an end date for her position in July. Her answers above are unsatisfactory, contradictory and implausible.
And she has just deleted her online profile within the last few hours, as well, probably in response to this thread.
