Here are three places local to me. I've been to Tatra and Polmarket and both are good. I haven't been to Mazurek but since it's close to Tatra, it would be worth checking out.

Forgot to mention Topsmak Bakery. I found them at a Farmer's Market so haven't visited the shop. The paczki were to die for. Better than babcia's.... shhhhhhhhhhhh. The taste of Poland but the soft yumminess of a US donut.
Topsmak Bakery Unit 13, 72 Orange Grove Rd, Liverpool 02 9600 7317

I couldn't agree with you more. So delicious at Topsmak :) And I finally ventured to try something other than the paczki and there are these delicious puffy things with cream inside that tastes just like icecream.
AMAZING. And the best thing about the paczki is that they are filled with powidla and not some aussie strawberry jam, like some others I have tasted. yeeuuckckk!
Pierogi is sold at the following; Olka Polka Bakery Queen Street Campbelltown great tasting. Also at Narel Deli Cnr of Daphne and Botany Road Botany and Rooty Hill Road Rooty Hill.
Olka Polka Bakery Queen Street Campbelltown is great for fresh Polish breads, homemade pierogi, kielbasa, paczki, krowki and small grocery items - plus all with friendly service. Our family shops there once a week. Great when you need your fix of Polish food!
La Boheme Restaurant & Bar at 199 Glebe Point Road, laboheme.com.au are serving Mushroom and Sauerkraut, Spinach and Cheese and also Sweet Strawberry Pierogi
Does anyone know what happened to Olka Polka bakery in Campbelltown? I stopped there today to get some supplies and it's empty and up for Lease. No sign saying they have moved either.
All this Polish deli and small-goods - butchers are OVERPRICED MASSIVELY ! In Narel - Plumpton - the prices are not displayed - the girls write the price on a paper and add it up on a cash register - you do get a slip from the register but its not itemized and you try to guess what costs what - AND THE BILL IS MASSIVE !
AND THE SERVICE IS THE SLOWEST IN THE WEST ! But then Polish people are used to stand in a que so . . . let them have it !
