I have 1 year of experience in Mobile entertainment industry as a sales manager. I dont speak Polish, but very eager to learn, as it is very similar to my native Ukrainian language. I know there would be some problems with visa, as I am not EU citizen. and there will be some issues with the work permit that Polish hiring company will have to do. would there be any chance for me to find the job? please advice me anything will be helpful :)

BBA degree in Marketing

3 or 4 year course plus 1 year for Masters and I year working as a Sales Manager equals let me see < 3 + 1 + 1 > minimum of 5 years but possibly 6 years so that means you started studying at 15 or 16 years old for your BBA ? As you say you are 21 years old at the moment. Just wondering if you have made an error somewhere ?

Or did i read it wrongly ?

Do students start that early in the Ukraine because usually students in UK start studying for a degree from 18 years of age < unless they are a child prodigy of course>

Maybe in England, but it's quite possible to get your masters at the age of 20 in Scotland ;)

Yes am sure it is but a BBA in Marketing is usually a 4 year course, but in any event a degree is a 3 year duration .......so she must have started at 16 for her degree course do you think ?

I got my Masters at 22 in Scotland :) Well, the graduation ceremony was in November and my birthday was on Oct 24. Still, I completed it in September :)

It all hinges on how well you do in your Highers. I didn't fare so well in year 5 of secondary school and did ok in the 6th. I stormed Uni in most subjects.

Most start at 17, those who leave school and go direct to Uni. That's what I did. The Honours year of your Bachelors is your 4th one.

My friend finished at 16 (did well enough in her Highers), went to RGU who were still doing three year degrees at that point, then a one year masters - voila, finished at 20. I say she missed out, though...I can't imagine going to uni and not being allowed to drink legally for the first 18 months :/

It's not impossible, especially as jumping up a year isn't unheard of - she might have finished at 17, got the two degrees by 21 and worked during her Masters.

To be honest, her problem is that she'll find a work permit absolutely impossible to get - I just can't imagine many people wanting to go to the hassle of arranging a work permit for someone who doesn't speak Polish.

Right enough. Moving to Ukraine may be a good idea for Poles. The lifestyle would be worth soaking up.

As you can see you won't get your answer here because instead of giving a simple reply to your question, many jealous chikitas are busy making calculations. I recommend you find some other place for that and wish you all the best, Irusichka.

That wasn't the issue Nathan i.e jealousy . I was looking at it from an Employers perspective and if her cv had been presented to me she wouldn't have got through a paper sift let alone be called for an interview.

Not at all WB., if you ask for a job you should make your particulars sound credible that's all :)

If she wants a decent career rather than a mundane job. Its easy to not say anything and just wish her luck rather than say , hey you need to make your cv a bit clearer.

This isn't a CV or job application. The OP posted it to give us some knowledge of her education, her language skills and job history so that anyone who knows the job market in Poland could give her some advice, so if anyone can give her advice please do so.

she should start learning Polish if she is serious about working there.

To be honest, even with fluent Polish, she'll still struggle with the work permit part. There's just no motivation for someone to hire an outsider

The best bet I think would be to try and get in through one of the multinationals - Unilever for example.

I know that PD but she did state

would there be any chance for me to find the job?

And that is why I posted as I did. Most employers whether in Poland or anywhere in the EU look for credibility. Was my opinion......that's all.

Obviously Aphrodisiac has made some good points for her to look at too.

I think they start univ at 18 and may get a master after 4 years, so If she turns 22 this year that would be OK.

I started university when I was 16, and turned 17 in September. I finished it at 20, and at 21 were receiving my Masters while working. I hope it is clear now. :)

that is reasonable correction.

thank you all!

Sure there are some chances but you definately shouldn't just quite your job and travel to Poland. Send some applications and check If there's any feedback...
