How's the IT job market in poland (warsaw)?

quite good (while comparing to other Polish towns/cities)

2. Do i need to speak polish to work there?

it depends on your profession, but English speakers can try to find job mainly in international companies

3. How much can i expect if i work as an IT support or maybe helpdeks?

Oh... how can you work as helpdesk or IT support while you don't speak Polish? I don't know, maybe there are some companies which need support for their international customers, but ... well, good luck, maybe you manage to find one :) What about money, it depends on company profile, but generally I would say that salary is somewhere between 2000 - 4000 PLN

Oh... how can you work as helpdesk or IT support while you don't speak Polish?

so are u saying its a bad idea to work in a support team if u dont speak polish? cuz ive been doing 1st and 2nd level support for the past 3 years and ive workd with the singapore government and also with one of the biggest multi-national company. So as u can see im currently only have experince in support.

And are u woking in the IT industry in poland? just wondering...

Yes that is great support experience. Ask yourself though, how are you going to provide support when you cant explain anything in Polish? There are some companies about where you could still get work. For example in my town Torun, there is a Sharp office or production place. No idea about what they really do. Anyway there are about 100 chinese people working there who are staying in a hotel near me. I know they dont speak Polish because I heard them in the local shop. So its not impossible to find something but it will almost definately have to be with an English or American company.

Yes i agree with you ukinpoland. And thanks for the advice given to both of u. If there are companies which do not need me to speak polish, where can i look for it? Is there any job searching website that i can brows through to look for IT job which dosent need me to speak polish? I've found some job searching website to look jobs in poland but the problem is the websites that i found are all in polish.

Is there any website that is in english? or maybe theres other way how can i look for IT job there?

It would probably be worth sending Emails to all the large companies that are in Poland and tell them of your exoerience. Some companies may offer you a job even if they dont have any jobs advertised.

pracuj.pl <- ask your gf for help.. just put keywords like helpdesk / support / consultant in search engine and you will see that there are some ads in English...
