The Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC) is a non-profit organization with two sites in Stamford and Norwalk in the state o Connecticut, dedicated to offering confidential services to those individuals and families experiencing violence or abuse at home, by a family member or an intimate partner. DVCC serves the communities of Stamford, Norwalk, Darien, New Canaan, Westport, Wilton and Weston. Services include the 24/7 toll free hotline (1-888-774-2900- PLEASE NOTE THAT THE HOTLINE IS ONLY VALID FOR THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT- THE national domestic violence hotline is 1-800-799-safe (7233), counseling, support groups, victim advocacy, safe houses and community educations. DVCC provides services to all victims of physical, emotional, verbal or sexual abuse regardless of legal immigration status, language or economic situation. We offer workshops and trainings to organizations, businesses and companies and we need the assistance of bilingual (Polish/English) members of the community that are interested in working with victims of domestic violence in the community or in raising awareness about domestic violence and the services that DVCC offers.
