lenjan 15 Dec 2006 / #1I am of Polish decent - now living in Chicago. Can anyone tell me if there is a local forum for discussing Polish social life, i.e. clubs, good places to meet Polish ladies, etc. If not, does anyone on this site have info to share on this? Thanks,Len
hello 22 | 890 15 Dec 2006 / #2So in other words, you wanna meet some Polish single ladies in Chicago? I would start by posting a picture here - profiles with pics seem to get more attention. I don't have one as I'm not single any more :). I don't think you'll find any local forum related to singles in Chicago only (unless you know Polish so you may try some polish websites). Other than that, I think some Chicagonians are visitors to this forum too.
OP lenjan 15 Dec 2006 / #3Humm.....so are you from Chicago?? The only club I know of that is Polish in Chicago is a place called Jedynka (not sure I spelled that right). Not sure if there are more of these places. It seems pretty popular but, - very loud, so it's hard to talk to anyone.Yes, I'm looking for any tips on places to socialize in the Chicago area with Polish women.THanks,Len
hello 22 | 890 15 Dec 2006 / #4No, but you can check this thread:https://polishforums.com/usa-canada/meet-women-chicago-2591/
Eurola 4 | 1898 16 Dec 2006 / #6Len, my friend has a niece 21 year old, from Poland. Very pretty girl.Ho old are you? :)
OP lenjan 16 Dec 2006 / #7Eurola, I thought you responded to my other post today - I am mid-40's - clearly old enough to be her father! I know many Polish women that prefer older men but this might be a stretch, don't you think! (by the way, I can modestly say that I am in really good shape)Len
OP lenjan 16 Dec 2006 / #10Yes I was/am dating someone - sort of. I do like her alot but (and there is always a "but" isn't there) she works constantly so I can never see her. It's one of those cycles where if things went right she wouldn't have to work at all but, for things to go right, I need to see her.Len
fp_06 11 Mar 2007 / #11Is there a dating website or social/activity group for Polish singles in Chicago? I'm a Polish American, F 38, born here but lived in Krakow for a year, and never seem to meet Polish or Polish-Americans...but there must be places to go or groups where it's possible to come into contact with more. Any suggestions?
regionpolski 33 | 153 13 Mar 2007 / #12I'm married to a Polish lady, and we live in Indiana, right outside of Chicago. Don't look on websites, look in cafes, supermarkets, etc., and I'd stay away from the nightclubs. Speak your best Polish, even if it's not very good, it's like the shoe is on the other foot.

Krakowianka 1 | 243 10 Dec 2008 / #19Samantha's on Belmont & Central is a nice cougar club! lol I think if you dont have a "sygnet", you can't enter.
Jebany_Swir 5 Nov 2009 / #21The Sygnet is a ring, but I don't think you need one, everyone there is over 60+.
ZIMMY 6 | 1601 5 Nov 2009 / #22Samantha's on Belmont & Central is a nice cougar club!I was there about 10 years ago; ran into several Polish speaking Gypsies who were drinking too much, talking loudly too much and otherwise were obnoxious. One tried staring me down.He was lucky I was in a jovial mood. The rest of the people there were friendly, and they liked to dance.
