Oh really... I`m shocked... and where was that ?

You talk about vacations try living there then talk to me.

LOL - So you`ve worked for your rural family - let me guess - they`ve also tried to pump you for money, you had to live in the basement and for your work they`ve paid you with sausages..

Sorry girl - but most of the peasant-farmers (in the US you`d call them red necks or hillbillies) here are this way.

let's see i work on a cattle ranch i'm up at 6:00am i don't get home till 6:00pm during irrigation season that must mean i'm lazy. you want to see lazy take a look at the people here in the u.s who are left leaning socialist, tree hugging dirt hippies, ect who would rather suck off the goverment tit then go and find a job. i find it funny that the same people that go on about capitalism would have no problem being wealthy themselfs.

I like living in US.
I do know that US no longer is respected, no longer has the prestige, she once had.

I remember my uncle, while living in Poland, he use to say….
"Ameryka to kraj miodem plynoncym”….. American is a land of honey.

After immigrating to US, living in US for a while, my uncle changed his tune to…
"Ameryka to korwa i zlodziej”.. America is a land of a whore and a thief.

:P

p.s. my uncle was born in US.

Did he first immigrate to the US and then was born here?
Just kidding.
I heard that saying too. America has changed, you have to use PC everywhere.
There aren't any blacks anymore, only Afro-Americans. New groups are forming, new rules, regulations, whatever you can think of, it's there.
Too much freedom. People want more! more! more! Never satisfied with what they've got.

Yes, my uncle was born in US. As an infant, he returned to Poland with his parents.

Ameryka to korwa i zlodziej”.. America is a land of a whore and a thief.

Good point, however, the american people and landscape are pretty good.. What I have issue is the cigar smoking capitalist people who run america and cause all our problems

Yes, the landscape is beautiful. Yellowstone Park, Rocky Mountains, the ocean. You have everything in one country. The north has snow and the south has summer all year long. People are generally friendly, depends where you are. Lot of retirees in Florida, Mexicans in Texas and California, Amish in Pennsylvania, Laotians in Wisconsin, Japanese in Hawaii, Polish in Chicago. And they all seem to get along for the most part.

However, like lef said, the Big Cats who run the country are a different story.
I'll tell later. I don't feel like talking about it now.

Then why don't they let Poles into the US? They were the only country that fought in Iraq side by side with the US. Iraq was devided 3 ways: Poland, USA and other countries.

I think Poland deserves more respect than that.

Then why don't they let Poles into the US?

It's complex - politics. If they allow Poles, what about Mexicans? The US has more strategic interests to be "friends" with them rather than Poles (one of the EU countries).

Germany, GB and some other countries are allowed to enter the US without a visa, because they know they will return to their country. The Polish economy is poor, and they are afraid that once they open up the borders, there will be too many leaving their country for a better life. Mexicans are also poor and they enter the US illegally. Many are caught and deported.

And you are right. It's all politics. And it's not your fault you were born Black or Chinese or Polish. You still have to find ways to survive.

People need to survive everywhere... and therefore it really shouldnt matter what u are born as... we all need to survive and we do what we can.

Ameryka to korwa i zlodziej”.. America is a land of a whore and a thief

My dad says " America Love it or leave it"

The united states is a corrupt country, living off borrowed money, who believe they can run the world and opinion, take away its debt it would be a third world country

What country doesnt have some form of corruption? At least we are not Englands rejects.

That's so true honey, animals react to people not the othe way! And some people just act like animals and in some cases look like them!

Ouch! This hurts. Don't misunderstand, the USA certainly has it's share of problems. I am an American citizen and I certainly have my complaints. But I don't think the USA is as bad as that. It's all geographical. Each state in the USA has it's own government. The US federal government is managing fifty state governments. So try to imagine each state as it's own country. Could you imagine a central government tyring to manage fifty different countries? It's not easy. And in the time it would take to drive from one end of Poland to the other end, I still wouldn't be out of Massachusetts!
