Looking for Polish "mentor" in central Illinois (not Chicago)!

Do widzenia! I am a student and I am taking a class called Language, Communication, and Culture. For the class we have to pick a language and find a mentor to meet with throughout the semester to help us as we learn the language.

I visited Poland last spring and I really enjoyed the culture and language! I am interested in finding a Polish speaker, preferably an immigrant, that would be able to meet with me once a week to help me.

I know that Illinois has a lot of Polish immigrants! But I do not know of any close by. I live in Lincoln, Illinois. I would be willing to drive to a nearby city to meet...but I am afraid that I cannot afford to drive up to Chicago once a week!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There will be one of the biggest festins/concerts organized by the Polish radio in CHicago, there could be a few thousands people there. It's this Sunday, don't remember the place exactly but I may be there too.

Edit: here are the details and map in Polish:
