Tymoteusz 2 | 353 26 Nov 2009 / #6Quick history lesson- The first thanksgiving dinner consisted of Lobster and Clams. No Turkey-Lurkey on the menu.
OP Dice 15 | 452 26 Nov 2009 / #7So what you're saying is I could have had a lobster and clams dinner tonight instead of this crappy turkey? I feel cheated!
Tymoteusz 2 | 353 26 Nov 2009 / #8Afraid so.. Drawn salted butter... I'm going to cry myself to sleep watching football (not futbol)
Wroclaw Boy 26 Nov 2009 / #10Ive never fully understood thanks giving whats the deal behind it? Is it something to do with native Indians giving food to starving colonial peasants?

Tymoteusz 2 | 353 27 Nov 2009 / #16Mmmmmm Venison. Hey, I thought of you when I posted this video.. Its just random clips of deer that I filmed while hunting. The first half is crappy but it gets good about halfway. for PP!
time means 5 | 1,309 27 Nov 2009 / #19I filmed while huntingGiven the terrible camera shake i would be surprised if you could hit a cows arse with a banjo. What do you use for hunting a minigun?
Tymoteusz 2 | 353 27 Nov 2009 / #20minigunI Lol'd. My camera was made for family movies inside the house, so, any distance at all and you end up well into the zoom function. It sucks, I know.
PlasticPole 7 | 2,650 27 Nov 2009 / #21Were you covered in deer pheromones? The buck was acting like he could smell the scent of a doe.
Tymoteusz 2 | 353 27 Nov 2009 / #22These clips were taken last week while the deer were in "rut". He was smelling for a doe, but it wasn't me. There are scents available, but if you clean yourself properly and store your clothes correctly you don't need them. I do use a grunt call and "rattle" the aggressive bucks in. "Bugle" for Elk, "gobble" and "kee-kee" for turkey. It's pretty neat when you can get an animal to come hunt you. :)It's like going to the club. If you find the does, the bucks will be along shortly. If you have a doe with you, the other does find you much more interesting. :)
