How can I get my Polish Fiance over to the US?

I want to marry him. In Poland. Does anyone have ideas how to do it the qickest so we can be together?

I'm American and my husband is from Poland. I met him in Poland while I was working as an English teacher there. I know all about the process!

You have a few options: You can apply for a fiance visa (of course, you have to go to Poland) that would take about 8-9 months. From the moment he arrives here you have three monthst to get married.

You can also get married in Poland- but that takes time because Poland requires a specific certificate stating that you are single. The Amercian Embassy can't give you that so you would have to get exempted from this process first. You have to spend atleast two months in Poland if you chose to go this road and then you can apply for a spousal visa which takes 7-9 months.

Your fiance can come here on a student visa, which is alot easier to get than a tourist visa (he doesn't have to be a student in Poland). You can just register him at the community college or any ESL school. There shouldn't be problem as long as he has money or you have money to sponsor him. Then you can get married here and apply for the change of status while he is here (I can recommend you a good lawyer)

In any case, you have to prove that you are financially capable to sponsor him!!! Let me know if you have any more questions!!!
