Hello
I am new to the forum and have been happily married to a beautiful
Polish Woman for over 3 years now. She has been in the hospital for the last 2 weeks
due to a mental illness. We are hoping to get her mother over here to North Carolina to
help in the recovery. Does anyone have any info on emergency visa's? The doctors
are going to be writing a letter describing everything and are willing to fax it directly to the consulate. My question is- does anybody have any insight about what i should have them include to make things easiest to get the visa? I know this seems like a vague question ,but it is very important to have her here.

thank you and i am anxious for any info.
Jer

the best thing you can do is let your senator or rep know. they will help if you're nice.

I did not think of that. Do they really have the ability to OK a Visa?
I'm sure they could make some phone calls and possibly help.
Thanks i will think about doing that
still open for any other advice
thanks

yes, most definitely they can get you one. they can't themselves approve such a thing but they can make it happen. in real emergency i know my senators would. you never hear of such things but they do a lot of 'favors' for the constituency.

have you ever written your senator? they actually read their mail! yeah, i was surprised too. :)
