The "additive" makes you crave more

I see you been to white castle:)

How about Fat Tire man?! I think it was from Holland... pretty darn good and it had to be imported

I thinks its from Belgium, they sell it all over the place now.

hahaha euuwww, well unfortunately my good old Amsterdam is full nowadays of cheap eateries in the center

I was suspicious when the waiter asked me if I wanted beef with it? So I agreed and it came as some noodle sauce green thing with a slice of beef slapped on top of it???,,,euuuwww is right..lol

We did manage to find a KFC along with numerous amounts of pubs:)

Actually, I have not been to White Castle for a decade or so. That used to be my 3 a.m. stop for food after spending a night at a dancing club and a few beers. lol. Those were the days! :) Luckily, i grew up.

Yeah but there's fat people everywhere. Who cares if it's 250 or 500 pounds. Both are too large. Time to diet.

That's just great but not too many people can afford them. Right?

Actually they can, the cheap eateries in the center are very cheap. like 20 euros with drinks and so. but they are disgusting.

A bit out of the touristic streets you get good food for around 30 euros with drinks per person. Amsterdam is not as expensive as people thinks. There was a time i used to eat out, take away food daily, but i learned to cook haha so now i can experiment a little.

I was suspicious when the waiter asked me if I wanted beef with it? So I agreed and it came as some noodle sauce green thing with a slice of beef slapped on top of it???,,,euuuwww is right..lol

Euuuw where the heck did you go eating haha

True, every one down on the calories, up to the gym

So I guess there are quite a few European fatties as well? Feel free to share the love around.

There most certainly are, but % wise we have a long way to go to catch up with the USA, this is not an insult its a fact.

British aren't that far behind us at about 23% of pop obesity.

We are taking steps, my brother is working with NHS on a project they have and also ad campaigns

7% points Shel? Also, 200 million in the US are not obese - 3 x GB's population. It's a global problem, we're behind computers all day now for the most part.

Per capita obesity is what we are talking here. Of course, US is going to have less obese people compared to a country with less population.

7% points Shel?

Okay, maybe not "miles", inches ;0) Still if you read the links you'll see we're doing something in the UK.

we're behind computers all day now for the most part.

Hey, my ass aint wobblin and I spend all day in front a computer! Its no excuse, people have had sedentary jobs for years, its about diet and greedy gluttens who dont know when they've had their fill!

On another note, I think fatties who fly should have their luggage allowance taken into consideration, if someone weighing 20st can sit in a seat next to me, why the feck if Im 11 lighter should they be able to take the same allowance as me, I should be able to take more!

Polish/American food (they feed people in the US with toxins)

Well, I admit in general our food is not the best in the World but people eat it and for some reason our life expectation is pretty much the same as in many other countries and in many cases even higher. :-)

Polish/American food (they feed people in the US with toxins)

Polish food is a terrible heart-clogging junk when you think of it from the "health point of view". However, it's truly delicious. It's all pork, all breaded, all fried. The polish "salad" is... a coleslaw! They don't even know what a salad is. Poland is too cold for salads, people! Vegetables: 100% canned. Meat: 100% pork. Most of your plate is some kind of a potato, or similar starch (pierogies). But it is good, and that's why I love it! :)

On the other hand, the American food is... yeah, what is that thing called the "American food"? Yesterday we had a grilled chicken Cesar salad for dinner (super-healthy), tonight we had pasta primavera (healthy-lecious), tomorrow we may have some Mexican junk-food for change. There is plenty to choose from here, so you eat what you like. It depends how often you choose to eat junk, we have many, many choices.
