HI,

I am looking for Polish recruitment agencies in London that help Polish people get jobs when they get to UK.

Is there any specific offices that help people get jobs?

Is there any places that help with Polish people coming to be a student in London?

please email me any advice.

whitechapel.cam@gmail

thank you.

Many of them. Just type in "agencja pracy londyn" or "praca londyn" in a search engine.

polish people can find work anywhere and they are not limited to only specific Polish agencies but people need to beware as they can be exploited. We have had a Polish man working with us for six weeks and his English is very poor. He was telling me that the agency has not paid him for a couple of weeks when he was working in June! He is still waiting now and has to go back to the agency with his son who speaks good English to try and sort things out. He drives to work using his own car and takes other members of the agency with him to work. He was promised petrol money in lue and it has been invariably unpaid, so watch out where you work and for whom. You need to get your hours written down and keep a copy of all your transaction as after a couple of months it is difficult to remember what and where you were working.

Any worker working for an agency who is not guaranteed hours or stability of employment is open to exploitation. This is especially true for the new wave of unskilled workers with very limited language skills. It was not my problem as such but it was this Pole who told me how he was not being paid for his work and was given a long list of broken promises and petrol allowances that never arrived. If he did two weeks work in June, it is reasonable to expect payment by now-it is now mid October!

Stop stiring the pot Mike! Besides you need to focus more on your studies rather than the forum.

I was not 'stirring the pot' as you put it. It was this Pole by the name of Andrzej, who was an electitian for twenty years who has not been paid for a lot of his work and I am simply relaying these concerns to others so that they list down carefully their worked hours so as not to fall in to the same trap.
