lol, true. i don`t think about it now though. but then again i didn`t think about the sleepless nights when i was pregnant either, didn`t think back then that it would be so difficult. now he`s almost 14 months and running around the house like crazy going into every cupboard and drawer so the main concern is his safety. when he`s a rebellious teenager, we`re gonna have to put some discipline in place :P mainly i want to teach him respect for women. oh gosh, i could talk about parenthood on and on but i`ll better stop before the message board falls asleep :P

What about the morning after pill(technically the 72 hour after pill)?...... Or do all you men so against abortion consider even blocking the possibility of a pregnancy as infanticide?

Good point, how far do you want to take it? Should sex be solely for reproduction?

Essentially everyone has their own view point, but that doesn't give them the right to tell others what they can do.

I would find it very hard to be involved with an abortion, especially as I want to have kids, and I never want to be in that situation. However, if a partner if mine was pregnant, then I would have to respect her right to choose.

Pretty simple really.

So isthatu2, ur position on rape and abortion?

I think Ive cleared that one up already, but, rape, the most disgusting crime short of murder.Imagine having the most intimate private pleasure destroyed by the forcfull assault and violation of a rapist. Abortion,a womans choice, though,if it came down to the mythical,"she wants to abort my baby" Id say, give me the baby and fek off if you dont want it.

but the baby will also have some of the rapists gene's, who is say that the baby wont grow into a criminal of sort.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

You inherit morals and the way you think from the people who RAISE you, not the people who CONCEIVE you.

Yeah, 2 wrongs don't make a right but if a woman is RAPED for God's sake, how can u lumber her with a baby she doesn't want?

I'M NOT FORCING ANYONE TO GIVE BIRTH TO CHILDREN THEY DON'T WANT.

All I am saying is that I believe it is sick. Abortion is a sick act in itself, at times caused by the sick act of rape.

However, can u even begin to imagine the mental anguish of a rape victim?

I've already said like 3 times that I can neve relate to a rape victim, let alone one who has become pregnant due to rape.

This topic has been discussed before and the outcome was, in general men think abortion is a terrible thing - maybe abortion wouldn't be so common place if women were secure in the knowledge that the man that got them pregnant was going to stand by them!

I agree. Any prick who gets a woman pregnant and leaves her needs the old Red Foreman treatment, a swift kick in the @ss.

no, thats not what i said - please refrain from putting words in my mouth, i am perfectly capable of speaking for myelf

I worded it wrong, sorry. I didn't mean to say that you yourslef would be performing the abortion.

The baby hasn't always developed El Gato, it can be at the very early stages of any growth.

Yeah I know. I really am not bothered as much by the early fetal abortions as I am by the "already looks developed" abortions.

i think it should be up to a woman to decide whether or not she wants to keep her baby.

Of course, I never said I'd go out there and keep people from doing what they want. I'm not some liberal hippy protestor who tries to force everyone to think like me.

there is no way that a featus (or call it underdeveloped baby in womb) can feel pain, let alone scream.

We can't know for sure what the fetus feels. The fetus doesn't actually make a noise, it just opened it's mouth as if it were screaming. It was also pushing away from the saline solution, so it obviously felt something was not right.

Let's say you just got raped. Would you actually keep the baby??? If so, why? Morals? Would you ever tell your child in the future?

I was actually watching an interview of a woman who was raped in Darfur, and is going to keep the child. She says she will tell the child the truth about its father, but will tell the child that she loves it no less.

Look, I'm never going to tell a woman she can't get an abortion. All I am saying is that I will never be able to look at said woman the same way. That's just me. Be whoever you want to be and do what you want, but don't be pissed off when I start judging you based on your actions. :]

Id say, give me the baby and fek off if you dont want it.

I'm with you 100%.

God forbid I'm ever in that situation, but if I did get a woman pregant, and she wanted to have an abortion, I would plead until the end of time for her to have the baby, give it to me, and she would never have to see it again.

the dumbest thing??...you are obviously not familiar with biology and genes. i am no expert myself but am aware that you inherit genes from your parents.

yes ,you inherit genes from your parents but it has been proven time and again that criminality comes from nurture, not nature....

still not the dumbest thing...you were discussing rapists and i dont think anyone is raised or nurtured to rape. there is definitely something missing in the genetic makeup for someone to contemplate and then act on it.
ShelleyS  14 | 2883

Of course there is something wrong with a person who rapes, its not exactly a normal thing to do, but I would dissagree that it's genetic.

listen you moany fukin bastards if youre trying to tell 10000 polish bints had to have an abortion cos they got raped your avin a fukin bubble

bit like buying a lottery ticket greatly increases your chance of winning the lottery, having sex without contraception greatly increases your chance of getting pregnent... simple... innit?

use protection and watch jeremy kyle and then you wont have to have an abortion

fukin caflicks

this article is not about fuckin bints, its about normal, lonely decent ones, very very confiused many times, in completely strange environments, trying to make ends meet , not fuckin types like on jeremy kyle show

if youre trying to tell me 10000 'normal lonely decent probably confused living in a strange environment, trying to make ends meet' polish girls got raped then youre even more of a fukwit than i had you down as.

the simple truth is that they didnt use contraception, got pregnant and had an abortion. the catholic fuk ethic pure and simple

perhaps watching jeremy kyle will teach them one of lifes most important lessons - if you dont use contraception when you get jiggy then your chances of getting pregnant are greatly increased

youre a clown, sunshine

when you don't know what to say, saying derogative comments only increase the way, how people percept your behavior and show them who you really are

article is not about a rape, its about abortion and reasons why young women decide to take this step, their motives and social consequences. Your presumption, because of "fukin caflicks", is obviously narrow minded

er... im being derogatory because i think youre a fukwit.

if you want to understand the context that my original post was made in, and the reason i referred to rape, take the time to read the preceding comments of the thread.

now, as for fukin cafliks; the whole of the educated free world knows that cafliks tend to have problems using contraception - something that their leader told them not do - with the obvious outcome. using abortion as a form of contraception is, quite frankly, an arsehole thing to do and 10000 polish 'bints' having abortions in the uk is symptomatic of this attitude.

now, get to fuk you uneducated toilet cleaner

Havent you read the article in which a Polish girl was abused by several english men...

They invited her a drink and they put something inside... Then they taken her somwhere and abuse her physically... she was totally in a mess!! Poor Girl!

When they raped her, they urinated in her and left her totally dranked and unconsious.. in front of the night club.

Adding to that, they left her a letter GO BACK TO POLAND we dont like you.

I know. It is very bad. All these fellows that travelled to search for better income (because I cant say better life style) in the UK and now are being treated like RATS in a HOLE

Polish should stand for themselves and be strong and not accept any rubish that the british government is offering. Seems to be like the time of the Holocaust in which all the POLISH have been treated and killed like animals. Polish should be strong and have dignity in not going to ENGLAND accepting any **** offer.

All the Polish who went to the UK sadly now has given all the rest of the citizens of Poland the fame of a race in necessity, starving for some penny, selling themselves, and accepting to be treated as a lower race, accepted the indignant treatment from the English who dislike all the POLISH

Simplyfying this complicated case to "cafliks " ethic is so narrow minded. Are you seriously think the problem we are face in this case is religious nature?

Obviously you have some religious issues, I'm talking about completely different perspective. Using religious excuses only stir discusion, of course in a wrong way.
