I hold a polish passport but have been here 10 years. I am now 16. I have left home because of domestic violence. I need to claim income support but have been refused because I did not satisfy the habitual residency test. I have my passport but nothing else because my parents will not give me the home office papers I need. Please any advice appreciated
Help with claiming income support for a 16 year old who has left home

speak to the local citizen advice bureau about this if you are in severe hardship then you can make a claim for this i believe
but the local citizen advice should be able to offer you advice you need and many do employ a polish worker :)
you could also apply yourself for your home office papers have you spoken to anyone from the embassy or home office about your situation ??

Have you been to the Police about this..? I realise that you may not want to make a complaint against your parents , but the Police will have contacts with people who can help you....Talk to social services , they can help too...best of luck girl , let us all know how you get on....
