Are Polish girls replacing Irish girls?

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed how more and more irish lads are going for Polish girls instead of Irish girls? my theory there is that a lot (not all) of irish women have got quite aggressive and unwelcoming in the last 10 years or so when you approach them for a chat. A huge number of guys I know have commented on the same thing. Polish girls have similar values to irish girls which irish guys appreciate but at the same time they're welcoming and interested when you talk to them. You also don't usually find polish women crawling on their hands and knees to a bank machine on Dublin's main street at 4am on a saturday drunk our of their minds with a burger in one hand and a tube of lipstick in the other!! :-)

You say that as if it was a bad thing to do.

I was chatting with an Polish young lady on Saturday night. She thinks Irish people are really open. She expressed surprise that intelligent, educated women in Ireland still talk about soaps and Big Brother with each other.

One other observation: when I asked how she knew the people at the party she said "oh, I'm X's girlfriend and he knows the host for years".

Now and Irish woman would never volunteer the information that she was attached. The norm here is to hide that information during the course of the conversation, so it was nice and refreshing to see someone not do this.

It's a slight exaggeration but you do see some pretty sad spectacles of a Saturday night. Women here often drink high-alcohol content sugary drinks, with unfortunate effects.

hmmm...not sure I like the picture you are giving of Irish girls here..personally I think that there is nothing worse then a girl who does not know her limits..whatever her nationality..as far as men going for polish girls..I have 5 brothers and all are with Irish girls..it depends on where you are looking for them ;-)..On the other side..Irish girls and polish men..I don't know if it is an upward trend..but there is something special about the polish guys...something really special..

Dont worry about it, the English and Irish girls get a daily bashing, didnt you know we are all fat ugly badly dressed and no longer able to act / behave in a feminine way :-)

Yeah it's important not to over generalise. A lot of people think that the ladette phenomenon is a positive, liberating thing, and who am I to disagree?

It is true that many Slavic people have a facial structure which is quite uncommon here and which many of us find very beautiful. So we'd certainly, in many cases, like to "replace" our local potential girlfriends with one of these so-called "exotic creatures".

Many Irish girls are quite open about feeling the same way towards Italian men. Vive la difference, I guess

Im not one of them :) Dont get me wrong Im capable of looking after myself and can change a fuse but I dont feel that I need to act or dress like a man...

A woman who has her own point of view :)

It all depends, I would not generalise about Irish/Polish girls so much, people are the same everywhere, you get all sorts wherever you go.

I have been in Dublin for a year already and saw Irish girls with no manners, completely drunk and looking discusting on Sat night but I also work with many Irish women and all of them are nice with excellent manners. So I do not know really...

There are differences in behaviour though, funnily enough I did not expect some Irish people (girls/boys) to be prude, that actually surprised me as in Poland you get an impression that everyone behind German border is soooo relaxed about sex.

Well, they know what they want and they go for it. Irish men may be willing to pay for their expensive lifestyle.

They all rejected your advances. Fair play to them.

Irish number 1

All eastern europeans are here for one reason, money. Your husband is no exception. Rich daddy? Own your own gaff?

Seanus

Only a ***** would marry a man for money. Indeed, if the man knows that she is only interested in his wallet, he is living a sad and pathetic life.

I wouldnt worry about that dude, theres only so many pretty Polish girls on offer. Once there all used up it will leave the dawgs, and they dont have much chance. So its back to the local poulation.

The Poles are not just replacing the Irish girls, they are replacing the Irish population in general. Indeed, it is predicted that the Irish will be a minority in their own country in 2050. I disagree with the prediction, we will be a minority by 2020 at this rate!

Ireland for the Irish!

Not me; when I sit down I don't like to look for wet spots.

Irish girls are just as beautiful as Polish girls. Just different personality traits.

Irish girls must be more pickey too, just ask SeanBM, they all rejected him! :)

The problem is that polish girls seem to go for Blacks and Arabs in Ireland. So much for the irish men.

Any self respecting Irish man would not date outside of his own. As for the polish women going for the third worlders, says more about them than us.

Ive only seen one Polish girl with a darkie, most stick to their own. Matbe I am wrong.
