Formal Qualifcations in Polish- UK

Hello!! I live in the uk and am looking to study for a qualifaction in Polish. Anybody else in the uk done this?? What qualifaction did you study and where? Im not sure where to start looking but eventually im looking to teach English in Poland and I feel this would be a good start. Any suggestions? Thanks guys! xx

Well, it's less useful noimmi. Things can change, Poland has been in the EU for almost 5 years now. The Poles are moving in many directions, that's what the Germans and French did before them. Spreading the net leads to a spreading in influence.

You are right, other languages are more used at the moment but change comes in many forms.

i dont know seanus...certainly a few words of Polish in the UK right now are alot more useful than that silly French they still insist on teaching in school here...if u can call it teaching that is....( and now kids for the third year running..using the SAME disc...we are going to teach you how to say BONJOUR and the numbers from one to ten...:(

Yeah, but what happens when many more Poles return home? It's good in a way that we recognise Polish through a formal qualification.

Hello there! I live in the UK and would really love to study Polish and gain some sort of proffesional qualifaication. Has anybody in England a qualifaction in Polish. What qualification are you studying for and what did you do to get it? I'm thinking after all my hard work it would be nice to have something on my CV about it! Thanks for any help guys!!

Glasgow University actually do a degree in Polish (only uni in the land, I believe) YES, I know it's in Scotland. You can also do year courses etc.
