Due to the fact you are only after there work cause they are fit, you should be appriciating them for there hard work they put in and there long hours!

I appreciate hard work but in a customer facing industry ugly people are bad for business.
Also trust me the girls really do like me even though I'm an Ugly fucker.
Danuta trust me you would love working for me I am a great boss. All the staff say so.

Unless they want to get sacked

No bad service is bad business. What are you operating a strip club?

Try to pay them more than £5.35 ph. You won't have to look for them then. They'll find you.

Tips? Are you in the US?

In a bar frequented by working men all week pretty girls get you more customers. Simple business fact. I have some but not any drop dead stunners and My Mythic abilities to find gorgeous girls to work for me are being questioned.

No UK.

Try to be more precise. And btw, 'the tips' is a matter between customer and staff, not the manager.

This is true. I have to admit. Men here tend to frequent bars where they have a crush on the staff. But, this isn't the only thing that should be priority...and maybe it's not for you, but you're givin us this impression.

I didn't think tips were popular in europe. Is Scotland different? From what I understand, Americans were the few that tipped there.

sorry thats £100.00 in tips per week before managers deduction. Most people here tip but only if they have better service or food than they expected or they are in love with the waitress or waiter who serves them. Tipping also depends onwether or not there is service charge on the bill.

I'm not exactly sure if tipping staff is popular here, but in the UK price often includes 'service charge', and the staff won't accept any tips then.

Some places in the US include the gratuity in the check as well. MY GF worked in a pub in Edinburgh and she said that noone tips there..except the few Americans that pass through.

Maybe post something more professional in the Jobs section and you can possibly find help.

Its In Buckinghamshire but I won't mention the name of the place just yet. There seems to be a serious sense of humour failure on this board.

managers deduction

WTF!....there is no way in my bar working days would I have parted with money I had earnt only to hand over a % to some gruby minded bar manager!!! ewwwwwwww ish dont think so!!!!

As for tips a friend of mine is a waitress (working through uni) and she can pull in 50 pounds on a Saturday...she averages about 150 / 200 a week....

In what way have I been arrogant ?

you sound like a pompus prick.... you're a bar manager..not Alan Sugar!

Hi, Wine Bar, can you describe what kind of girl you are after? age, height, size, hair colour.

It does not matter privided they are attractive can work hard and are friendly to customers even when they are having a bad day.

so i think you are judging your staff wrongly

I am not judging my staff at all they are first class but I need 1 or 2 more.

I also need a handyman/kitchen porter but he can be ugly as sin provided he is good with a hammer.
