the US had entered the war in 1942 ...in Asia and somewhere around 1944 in Europe...

The UK - untill late 1940 had been bombing Germany with leaflets saying that there`s still a chance for peace...

...The US and UK had liberated FRANCE, GREECE - and - partly the Beneloux countries as well as Denemark from German occupation - but that`s it.

As I recall, Polish troops saved whole regiments of English paratroopers in Holland, because the English were too bullheaded (as usual.) to listen to Sosabowski's advice. They screwed their mission, the Polish saved them and who got the blame?

Exactly. I'm extremely happy that they've finally recieved their medals from our queen, and this should have been done 50 years ago, but the English pressured our ministry of defense not to do this because they couldn't admit they've made mistakes too.

Oh, and the Dutch navy fleet perished totally, they knew they didn't stand a chance, but they drove the Japanese navy back, decimating them by 2/3.. I never hear English people talk about this either. How typical.

English soldiers did a fine job, I honour them, but I also honour every other soldier that perished for my freedom. All you seem to do is tell the world how you saved everyone all on your own.

Britain declared war against Germany on 3rd September 1939 - 2 days after Germany invaded Poland.That means the whole reason Britain went to war was because Poland was attacked.Some historians even claim that if Britain and France had stood back and done nothing Hitler would have taken Poland and eventually Russia and left western Europe alone.As it was all the allied nations in Europe were invaded by the nazis.Britain had the sea to defend us so we became the headquarters for resistance against the nazis.In Britain we do see documentaries which mention the courage and skills of the Polish soldiers based in the UK.

Maybe you think you were betrayed by Britain? The problem is that people all over the world think Britain is more powerful than it somtimes is.You were surrounded by Germany and Russia - both disliked Britain and the USA.Winston Churchill wanted to send weapons to the Polish resistance but the Soviets told him they would have to shoot down any British planes.

Unfortunately for Poland in the 20th century you had the misfortune to be a neighbour to 2 of the worst countries-Nazi Germany and then Soviet Russia.
