Hello you all in Wroclaw!

We will visit Wroclaw for the first time on 15th - 18th of Nov. Have been waiting for this trip for a long time! Couldn't be more excited =)

Now, all kinds of tips appreciated! Top 10 places to see, things to do, restaurants & pubs ??? (ps. we are already "eldery people" - soon 40 years...)

Thanks, folks!

Paparazi, Lemoniada and Seven Cats. Put these pubs on your list. They're roundabouts the square. La Scala, a lovely Italian restaurant at the square, if you fancy good Italian fare. The Japanese Garden is lovely too; it's a zen zone - too much crowd on Sundays though, try another day.

is Panorama Raclawicka still there?

Yes. A must-see.

Merged: Greek student visiting Wroclaw in April

Hello everybody in this forum :)

I am a greek student and i am planning to visit Wroclaw in april.I have read some threads so as to get some information and i thought it wouldn't hurt to create a new one ;)

could you give me some tips regarding:

-Weather: What weather is gonna be like in april.Do i need warm clothes? (apparently yes but i think someone could confirm it)
-Things that i should or shouldn't do.(gestures or behavior that is considered impolite or offending)
-the language:i know most people know english , too , but i was wondering if i could learn by then the basics (just to be on the safe side)

any other information will be considered quite helpfull
i am really sorry i misspelled any word (i try my best not to)

Thanks in advance for your help!

Dimitri :)

Oh do shut up Poly

The weather in April is mild - a light jacket and shirt / t-shirt would be fine but bring a jumper just in case it gets cooler at night.

The younger generation speak perfect English and the older generation understand, pointing and guestures work wonders ;-)

Just get a loney plant guide book for the pleasantries.

Food is fab and people are lovely :O)
