Spa recommendation near Krakow

Could anybody recommend spa near or in Krakow, please? Friends are going to Krakow in February and would like to go somewhere nice.

I guess the nearest you can find spas is the mountains...Zakopane may have some, but i'm sure there are many in that area ;)

Spas near Krakow are in Krynica, Busko Zdroj, Piwniczna, Muszyna.

My cousin also goes to a centre in Piwniczna every year to lose weight. From the way she describes it, it sounds like a workers' sanatorium from the communist times (decor is every shade of brown, narrow beds, a canteen) but it works i.e. she loses weight, gets massages every day and has a good time, and is cheap. If that sounds like the kind of thing they want let me know and I'll ask her for details.

Go to Janske Lasne in the Czech Rep. It's a spa town not to far from there.
