OK, I finally got all my plans figured out. I'm arriving in Warsaw on December 11th, and staying for three nights. I'm staying at Polonia Palace hotel.
I need some advice. What do you guys recommend a 29 year old single guy to do for a few days in Warsaw? Also, How much of a problem will my not speaking Polish be?
Warsaw has many tourists and some Poles do speak English, so I'm sure you'll find a way to communicate. Some hotels have brochures of events.
You can check out the Old Town and the Warsaw Castle, Pałac Kultury - take an elevator to the top, there are many pubs around, good restaurants, check out Służewiec where they have horse races, etc.
Bryon, If you hang out at the pubs around the University, you'll meet plenty of people to hang with. Otherwise, go to Museums. The War Museum is AWESOME. Great med-evil knight armor and weapons. Um...you can skip the chopan museum. There's too much in Warsaw to do in three days.
From Polonia Palace it is not far away to Mazowiecka Street, where you can find some clubs if you like dancing. Check Enklawa, my favourite one. Have a good time in Warsaw :)
If u want I can show you Warsaw. I live here many years so I know nice places and I like be guide. :-) I can`t promise I`ll be free all day but when I busy I`ll tell u what you should see.
