Recommendations for Zakopane Travel and Hotel

We are going to Zakopane 7/8 days & Krakow 4/5 days incl a trip to the Salt Mine, we are a couple + elderly father, has anyone any suggestions or tips of where to stay 'posh but poor' sums us up! Grateful for all recommendations on good places to eat too. Thanks

I recommend The Stranger Hostel in Krakow to sleep thestrangerhostel.com and U Babci Maliny also in Krakow to eat kuchniaubabcimaliny.pl/..:)

Hi there. Last year we used the agency that offered all inclusive everything! It was awesome from the start till the very end. We didn't want to leave! I don't know if I can post links here ...so I'd rather not. Send me an email and I'll give you the name.

hi there, was there in november at a friends wedding, shame about the rain as i wanted to ski, but the place is beautiful...but i dont know much about the night life but the day life is A class....

You may find most of the hotels booked up for the New Year but you can try this one fian.zakopane.com/pl, remember, this is the peak season so prices will be a lot higher. The staff are friendly and speak English.
