If you were to go on a nice date in Torun, what would be some good restuarants you would suggest?

Anything Polish. Go and explore the real Polish food, even in "Bar mleczny".

If you want to eat well and not pay too much, go to the Czarna Oberża (ulica Rabiańska I think). If you have money to burn, you will pass loads of fancy restaurants anywhere you go in the Old Town. For an expensive but very fancy, fin de siecle experience complete with waitresses in almost period dress, go to Róże i Zen. :-) for coffee and cakes.

Enjoy! :-)

Merged: Good Restaurants Torun

I would enjoy receiving information about good restaurants in Torun. I'll be there for 3.5 days. Of course breakfast will be at my hotel.

I'm excited about going to Torun.

Thank you, it's on my list already. I'm looking forward to my visit. It will be the first time in months when I have nothing to do but have fun and enjoy what I want to do from minute to minute.
