not too far from Romania

Long time ago, Poland and Moldavia (historical province of Romania) had common border.

Is there a specific time of the year that you would recomand for visiting Poland ?

Put it right next to Vlad's castle. I hear the hill it sits on gets a lovely view of the countryside. :]

Indeed you have a great look over the surroundings, specially in the springtime when all is green.

the hospitality is wonderful though.

My people is also known for its hospitality, it's good we have this thing in common, is very important to treat people as you wish to be treated yourself.

Let me know if there are more reasons. Thank you all ! :)

If you mean visiting Poland on vacation and you don't have relatives in Poland (that would be the most important reason in most cases), here are some other reasons:

1. Friendly people (most of the times).

2. Good cuisine.

3. Some nice old towns/cities.

4. Baltic sea region

5. Tatry mountains region

Hello "hello", thanks for your list, i don't have relatives in Poland, I'm just looking for nice places to visit and for that i need some good reasons, that's why i created this topic.

U mentioned the friendly people on the top of your list, I guess that's the main reason combined with the hospitaly.

Come on people....give me more reasons !
