I took a quick kook and it seems to be from Stockholm.

you might check if there is anything from Gdansk. Unity line is the carrier.
anything from Gdansk
I will try them....you would think there would be a direct ferry...i mean Latvia is not so far away from Polska...

the best option would be to contact travel office. I just noticed that the major carrier from Gdansk is Polferries.
Thanks for your help Miranda.....If there isn,t a direct ferry to Riga i think i might just ride all the way....

Really...? i wish i had you around when i was making all the plans to drive from UK to Belarus and Russia...it was a pain.....but i will let you know when the trip to Siberia comes off....you can plan it for me......
Hey wildrover,
I was trying to find ferries from the Baltic states to Norway, ended bad. The ferries did not exist or were at extortionist prices. I will be the first to admit that I am bad at using the computer and I ended up driving, which was good fun (no speeding fines) hehehe. Next time I am going to Lithuania from Krakow I could even give you a lift to Vilnius? I should be going there very soon. And from there it is only a 4 hour drive to Riga.

Ha..not true...i shall be checking all those companies you mentioned Miranda , but i have a feeling there isn,t going to be a direct route to Latvia , only via Sweden , and i so hate to begin a journey by setting off in the opposite direction....
